As a financial organization,commercial banks have the particularity of the industry.Their operating currency,operating a variety of financial assets,financial liabilities,etc.,provide a solid supporting role for the society's currency flow and money supply.At the same time,commercial banks,as part of the commercial nature of the banking system,are of a corporate nature in addition to their financial characteristics.Bank A is a commercial bank with a large market share in Q City's financial market.Its original performance management system can help it expand its market share in the past few years.However,with the increasingly fierce competition in the regional financial market,the growth rate of Bank A has slowed down,and its performance management problems have gradually emerged.In order to ensure the sustainable development of Bank A,a performance management system that is more adaptable to the current market competition environment is needed to inject new vitality into its sustainable development.First,according to the characteristics of domestic commercial banks,the background and purpose of the topic selection are introduced,and the research content and related theories of this article are explained to provide support for the research of this article.Secondly,this article conducts an actual survey in the form of a questionnaire to identify the current problems of A's performance management,including lack of purpose in performance planning,incomplete performance tracking,low process integrity,and inadequate performance feedback and evaluation mechanisms.Thirdly,in response to these problems and reasons,an optimization plan for the performance management system is formulated,which is carried out from four aspects:performance planning,performance tracking,performance assessment,performance feedback and evaluation,so as to form a new performance management system adapted to the new competitive environment.Finally,in order to ensure the implementation of the optimization plan,this article proposes an implementation guarantee plan from three aspects: organizational structure,performance management closed-loop mechanism,and learning and training at all levels.The research results of this article can provide a reference for Bank A to improve market competitiveness through the optimization of performance management system,and also provide a reference for the optimization of performance management of similar enterprises.
