With the deepening of my country’s market economy,the market competition has being more and more intense,and the uncertainty and competitiveness of the market are gradually increasing.Therefore,enterprises are constantly improving their own management system,thereby improving their comprehensive strength.Among them,performance appraisal is an appraisal system that enterprise managers pay more and more attention to.As an important department in the value creation of manufacturing enterprises,the production department is the foundation of such enterprises and plays an key role in the future enterprise development.The work efficiency and work attitude of employees in the production department have a profound impact on the future development direction of the company.In order to improve the work efficiency of the employees in the production department,and to motivate the employees in the production department to a higher degree,so that they can create value for the enterprise,establishing a performance appraisal system that conforms to the characteristics of the employees in the production department is essential for survival in the increasingly fierce market competition.It is of great significance to the development of enterprises.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the performance appraisal of the production department of the H company,this paper summarizes the problems existing in the current performance appraisal of the production department of the H company in combination with the on-site investigation.Including: unreasonable setting of assessment cycle,unscientific setting of assessment indicators,unreasonable assessment indicators and processes,insufficient performance feedback,and uninspiring assessment results,and analyzed the reasons for these problems.Then,the article puts forward optimization suggestions for the performance appraisal of employees in the production department of H company.Firstly,the optimization ideas and principles are introduced.Furthermore,through the optimization assumption,it is considered that the combination of the balanced scorecard method and the key performance indicator method is more suitable for the characteristics and status quo of the production department of H company.The optimization plan mainly includes H company strategy,department strategy,key performance indicators,key performance indicator weight setting,performance implementation,application of performance appraisal results,and performance feedback based on the balanced scorecard,which are necessary conditions for the construction of the performance appraisal system.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the optimized performance appraisal work,this paper proposes a performance appraisal guarantee mechanism for employees in the production department of H company from the dimensions of organization,system and training support.The article not only enriches the performance appraisal research combining the balanced scorecard method and the key performance indicator method,but also the research process and conclusion of the article have certain reference value for the application of performance appraisal of employees in the production department of small and medium-sized garment manufacturing enterprises.
