The Economic Effect Of American "Double Against "measures On Chinese Tire Industry

With regard to the anti-globalization phenomenon,many countries have taken various measures to maintain their own markets,such as adopting trade policies(such as tariffs,import quotas,subsidies,etc.),so as to protect the development of enterprises in their own markets and reduce the pressure of domestic centralized competition.Under the current form of trade,China plays an important role in the international trade market.In the past and now,it has often been the victim of trade protection measures adopted by some countries.At present,especially the trade friction between the United States and China has been increasing,resulting in tension in the economic and trade relations between the two sides.The United States has been seeking to limit China’s exports,and has called on China to reform its exchange rate and market access policies,so that the international competitiveness of China’s export products has been greatly reduced;Finally,this restriction will also lead to the shortage of labor supply in the United States market,which will affect China’s economic activities in the United States.The "double counter" measures have become a trade remedy method frequently used by the country.China’s tire industry has always had a high share in the international market,but the United States has been implementing trade sanctions against China’s tire industry in recent years,and the number of cases of implementing "double counter measures" has increased year by year.The United States is China’s largest tire export market.The implementation of the "double counter measures" in the United States has caused great harm to China’s tire market.In addition,the export volume of China’s tire industry plays a decisive role in the relevant domestic upstream and downstream industries.The implementation of the "double counter measures" has brought great challenges to China’s tire export.If it cannot be effectively solved,it will bring serious consequences to the overall development of China’s tire industry.This paper mainly analyzes the impact of the "double counter" measures implemented by the United States on China’s tire industry,analyzes its characteristics and seeks solutions.At the same time,it analyzes the main reasons why China’s tire industry suffered from "double anti",and fundamentally finds the problem,so as to find effective solutions.In the empirical analysis,this paper uses VAR model to analyze the impact of the "double counter" measures on the industrial effect of China’s tire industry,uses multiple regression model to empirically test the trade effect of the "double counter" measures implemented by the United States on China’s tire industry,and analyzes the results of the two effects.In view of the problems found in the above research,some suggestions are put forward for the further development of China’s tire industry.First of all,it is necessary to establish a good early warning mechanism to curb foreign trade sanctions at an early stage and avoid the ultimate restriction of the development of the industry due to the "double counter" measures.Secondly,when the final result of trade sanctions is announced and implemented,it is necessary to take extreme measures to deal with trade sanctions to offset the negative impact of the "double counter measures" on China’s tire industry,and adjust the trade restriction effect of the "double counter measures".From the perspective of the long-term development of the industry,China’s tire industry should strive to strengthen its own construction,promote industrial transformation and upgrading,improve its competitiveness,and promote the innovation and integration of tire enterprises.In order to avoid the negative impact of trade sanctions,it should vigorously develop the domestic market and strengthen cooperation in the international market.The key is to expand exports,grasp the opportunities in the international market,improve export competitiveness and promote the balanced development of foreign trade.
