Due to the trend of combining intelligent and service-oriented development in green industries, the global industrial system and competitive models are being restructured.Pursuing a green and low-carbon development path has become the key to future global economic development. However,China is still at the mid to low end of the global industrial chain division of labor, and the key to completely changing the current situation lies in driving the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry and achieving green development. Therefore, manufacturing enterprises should take corresponding solutions to achieve sustainable development.Sustainable development is a "double-edged sword" for manufacturing enterprises. Not only does it bring unlimited opportunities for the long-term development of enterprises, but it also puts strategic management at risk.Implementing green integration in the supply chain is an important way to address current resource and environmental issues. It can be seen that in-depth exploration of the relationship between green supply chain integration, green innovation, and sustainable performance is of great significance for promoting the long-term development of enterprises. Therefore, based on the resource-based view,Schumpeter’s innovation theory, and sustainable development theory, this study proposes research hypotheses and constructs a conceptual model.Among them, research hypotheses include: green supply chain integration has a significant positive impact on sustainable performance, green supply chain integration has a significant positive impact on green innovation, green innovation has a significant positive impact on sustainable performance, and the mediating role of green innovation. This study focuses on manufacturing enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region(Zhejiang Province,Anhui Province,Jiangsu Province, and Shanghai City). The sample data required for this study was collected through the distribution of survey questionnaires, and empirical analysis was used to validate the conceptual framework of the impact of green supply chain integration on sustainable performance and whether green innovation has a mediating role, using Smart PLS3.0 data analysis software and PLS-SEM.The empirical analysis results indicate that: firstly, green internal, customer and supplier integration all directly or indirectly affect the three dimensions of sustainable performance.Secondly, green innovation plays a mediating role in the relationship between the three dimensions of green supply chain integration and sustainable performance.Thirdly, the integration of green supply chains has a positive impact on green innovation.Fourthly, green innovation has a positive impact on sustainable performance. Therefore, managers of enterprises must attach great importance to collaborating with supply chain partners to implement green supply chain integration, and create better sustainable performance through successful green innovation; The integration of green supply chain must aim to promote the green innovation process of enterprises,in order to strengthen sustainable supply chain management and green innovation.
