With the improvement of people’s living standards,the demand for food is no longer just to solve the problem of hunger,but more concern is put on health and deliciousness.As grain is the most basic food,ensuring grain security is crucial for the country’s construction and development.In this context,strengthening the task of grain inspection is becoming increasingly important.With the gradual increase in the country’s requirements for grain safety,grain and oil testing institutions must continuously improve their own strength in order to establish a foothold in the industry.Z Grain and Oil Company is one of the important institutions that guarantee national grain security,and has built a professional grain and oil testing laboratory in its inspection field.The laboratory mainly engages in quality testing,capability verification,inspection identification,standard value determination,technical training,technical consultation and other related businesses for grain,oil,and grain and oil products.The laboratory establishes a quality manual,procedure documents,operation instructions and so on according to the requirements of various regulations through the national qualification certification process,and carries out all activities in accordance with the quality management system documents to ensure the scientificity and impartiality of testing data.Nevertheless,Z Laboratory has encountered many problems in its operations,and therefore it is urgent to optimize the laboratory’s quality management system.This article summarizes the background of this study through a theoretical study of quality management systems,ISO/IEC 17025,and China Metrology Accreditation.Through the use of AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation methods,it analyzes the problems existing in the quality management system of Z laboratory and uses the 6S management theory and PDCAmanagement to optimize the laboratory’s quality management system for the analyzed problems.The main research results of this article are as follows:Firstly,through theoretical research on quality management systems,ISO/IEC 17025,and China Metrology Accreditation,the importance of optimizing the laboratory’s quality management system is determined.The laboratory quality management system is a comprehensive control system designed to ensure the accuracy,reliability,and comparability of laboratory data.Its purpose is to comprehensively manage and supervise the laboratory to ensure that laboratory work is compliant,orderly,and ensures the quality of laboratory testing work while maintaining the credibility of the laboratory.Secondly,according to the ISO/IEC 17025 indicators,a model is established,and through AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation methods,it is found that the quality management system of Z laboratory has just reached the "good" level and is close to the "medium" level.From the results,the five aspects of basic resources,process methods,continuous improvement,risk control,and document control have not reached the "excellent" level.Among them,the problem in the basic resources area is particularly prominent.Thirdly,the main reasons for the identified problems are analyzed,including weak personnel quality awareness,insufficient assurance of result effectiveness,failure to achieve continuous improvement,weak risk management awareness,and inadequate document management.Fourthly,in the study of optimizing the laboratory’s quality management system,it is found that the optimization principles must first be comprehensive,active,and scientific.Secondly,effective management methods,such as 6S management and PDCA cycle,need to be used.6S includes "sorting,straightening,sweeping,cleaning,literacy,and safety." It is found in the research that many problems arise due to the lack of quality awareness among personnel,and the cultivation of personnel "literacy" can strengthen their quality awareness."Sorting,straightening,sweeping,and cleaning" are effective in improving laboratory environmental management."Safety" can help to solve the problem of risk control.PDCAplays a supporting role in the continuous optimization of each project and is beneficial to the laboratory’s continuous improvement.ISO/IEC 17025 is an authoritative international standard that can serve as a reference basis for the construction of laboratory quality systems.The mature 6S management theory can effectively optimize the laboratory’s quality management system.In the process of optimizing and improving the quality management system,the PDCAtool is also indispensable.By continuously executing the PDCA cycle,it can promote the continuous construction and development of the quality management system,and comprehensive evaluation is a means of evaluating the effectiveness of the laboratory’s quality management system and timely correcting its development.The research in this article aims to improve the laboratory’s internal control and management level,establish a scientific and standardized management mechanism,enhance the credibility and accuracy of experimental results,ensure the validity and reliability of experimental data,enhance the authority of the laboratory,enhance the brand image and influence of the laboratory in the industry,and improve the laboratory’s customer service level by providing customers with more professional and high-quality experimental services,increasing customer satisfaction.
