| Transportation is the foundation,pioneer,and strategic industry of the national economy,as well as an extremely important service industry,whose influence covers all aspects of the economic and social fields,and directly affects people’s daily lives.In recent years,new transportation service industries represented by the sharing economy have rapidly emerged,among which the typical representative is the ride-hailing service in the field of travel.With the rapid development of Internet technology and the increasing demand for convenient travel,the ride-hailing industry in China has developed rapidly.As of June 2022,there were 300 ride-hailing platforms in China,with a user base of 405 million people and completed orders of6.96 billion,and while the industry continues to grow,competition among platforms is intensifying.The object of this study,T3 ridehailing platform,is an emerging enterprise in the field of travel.The T3 ride-hailing platform launched by Nanjing Linghang Technology Co.,Ltd.is a new smart travel solution.The platform is jointly invested by three of China’s largest well-known automakers-China FAW Group Co.,Ltd.,Dongfeng Motor Corporation,and Changan Automobile Co.,Ltd.,and internet companies such as Tencent and Alibaba.The brand vision of this platform is to become the most trustworthy travel service company,with the mission of leading joyful travel through technology and advocating trustworthy and more free travel concepts.The goal of the T3 ride-hailing platform is to provide users with trustworthy,safe,and quality travel services,allowing users to enjoy a more free and reassuring experience while traveling.The platform provides users with a series of travel services,including carpooling,car rental,taxi,and other modes,and users can choose the appropriate mode of travel according to their needs.The platform also provides intelligent travel services,such as booking a taxi,real-time traffic updates,navigation,electronic payments,etc.,to provide users with a more convenient travel experience.Since its establishment,the platform has rapidly expanded and has completed its layout in 108 cities,with a registered user base of 148 million and daily orders exceeding 3 million,achieving good market performance in the travel industry.However,in the process of development,T3 ridehailing has also encountered various problems such as market share,compliant operations,and price wars,which will directly affect the healthy and sustainable development of T3 ride-hailing.This paper studies the development strategy of the T3 ride-hailing platform in the context of the mobile travel industry.The research applies relevant strategic management theory knowledge and explores from multiple perspectives.Firstly,this paper analyzes the current development status and existing problems of the platform,finding that the platform faces many challenges and opportunities.Secondly,this paper comprehensively analyzes the platform’s own advantages and disadvantages,as well as the opportunities and threats it faces,from the perspective of the internal and external operating environment of the company.In this process,the SWOT model is used to conduct an indepth analysis of the platform.In the specific analysis,this paper clarifies the short-term,medium-term,and long-term development goals of the T3 ride-hailing platform,aiming to help the platform accurately grasp market trends,seize development opportunities,and meet challenges.At the same time,we propose a series of feasible development strategies,which will provide strong support for the platform’s future development and help the platform achieve healthy and sustainable development in the industry.Finally,this paper proposes that T3 ride-hailing platform should choose the SO strategy,which is to expand the market,accelerate the national market layout,accelerate digital management transformation,improve operational efficiency,accelerate the layout in the field of autonomous driving,etc. |
