In recent years, with the rapid development of economy and society and the expansion of city scale, the demand of residents' travel has increased dramatically and urban traffic congestion has become the normal. In order to solve the traffic problems better,it is necessary to analyze the travelers' travel behavior from the micro level, and further study the decision-making mechanism and behavior mode of travelers. This paper studies the mode choice of urban residents, through mastering the residents' preference for travel mode, and then understands the operation of the urban transportation system, which provides suggestions and references for optimizing the urban traffic structure and formulating various traffic policies and measures.Under the background of the rapid development of Internet plus, the rapid development of the network based vehicle industry based on the shared economic thought has solved the problem of the difficulty of taxi users in China's taxi market and the high rate of no load for drivers. In the process of its continuous development, there are many types of online car hailing, such as express car, special car and windmill, which have changed the single service mode of China's urban traffic market for a long time and provided diversified and personalized travel services for urban residents.Based on the prospect theory, this paper discusses the choice of travel mode of urban residents under the background of Online car hailing.First of all, considering the influencing factors of residents' travel behavior selection, using TOPSIS method to set up model reference point, and using grey correlation coefficient to improve the value function,a model of residents' travel mode selection based on prospect theory is constructed. Then, through the empirical investigation,we get the use data of online car hailing. Moreover, according to the empirical data, descriptive statistical analysis is carried out,and parameters in the model are calibrated based on genetic algorithm. Finally, through the comparative analysis, this paper discusses the impact of online car Hailing on the mode choice of residents' travel behavior.By combining theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Under the background of network car hailing, based on the prospect theory and combined with the gray correlation coefficient, the residents' travel mode selection model can explain the residents' travel mode selection behavior well.(2)According to the questionnaire data, the genetic algorithm is used to calibrate the parameters, and the estimated values of risk preference coefficient and loss avoidance coefficient under the choice of travel mode are obtained.Compared with Kahneman's and Tversky's calibration results on the sensitivity of venture capital, the risk preference coefficient and loss avoidance coefficient of travel mode selection behavior are smaller. The results show that in the field of transportation, the risk preference of the respondents is relatively low.(3)In the online car Hailing market, express service occupies a dominant position, followed by online taxi hailing, with the least special and carpooling services.Among the given travel modes, the online car Hailing is better in travel time, comfort and punctuality, and worse in safety.(4)Combining the prospect theory model with the empirical data analysis, the conclusion shows that compared with only providing one kind of service of online taxi in the initial stage, the current diversified service improves the sharing rate of online taxi passenger flow by more than 20%.
