| Technological innovation is the main force for enterprises to enhance their competitiveness,but with the complex and changeable market environment,enterprise technological innovation activities are also more complex.It is difficult to complete technological innovation activities only by relying on a single enterprise.Therefore,more and more enterprises begin to carry out cooperative R&D with other organizations to form a cooperative R&D network,so as to reduce R&D costs,R&D risks and further affect the technological innovation activities of enterprises.Some scholars have explored the relationship between cooperative R&D network and enterprise technological innovation,but have not yet formed a unified conclusion.There are mainly three views: positive,negative and inverted U-shaped.Most scholars only measure the technological innovation ability of enterprises from the perspective of R&D input or R&D output,and measure the characteristics of enterprise cooperative R&D network from the single perspective of network structure or network relationship.Compared with other manufacturing industries,China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry has higher R&D investment intensity,but the technological innovation ability is at a low level and the technological innovation efficiency is low,which is in the state of technological inefficiency.It can be seen that the R&D investment resources have not been reasonably allocated and there is waste,which violates the core idea of "reducing cost,improving efficiency and reducing waste" of industrial engineering.Therefore,this study takes pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises as the research object to seek methods to improve the technological innovation efficiency of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises in China.Firstly,this study takes 77 listed companies in the A-share pharmaceutical manufacturing industry as the research object,takes the joint patent application of enterprises as the data source,and constructs the cooperative R&D network of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises.The research finds that the scale of cooperative R&D network of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises is gradually expanding,the network connectivity and aggregation degree are enhanced,and the phenomenon of cooperative R&D is more common.Further,from the perspective of efficiency,the Three-stage DEA model is used to measure the technological innovation ability of enterprises,and the characteristics of cooperative R&D network of enterprises are measured from the perspective of network structure and network relationship.The structural hole is selected as the measurement index of structural characteristics of enterprises in cooperative R&D network,and the connection strength is selected as the measurement index of relationship characteristics of enterprises in cooperative R&D network.This paper explores the relationship between the characteristics of cooperative R&D network of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises and the efficiency of enterprise technological innovation.Based on the perspective of enterprise knowledge base,this paper explores the internal influence mechanism of the relationship from the two aspects of the width and depth of enterprise knowledge base.Then,the panel data model is used to empirically analyze the relationship between the characteristics of cooperative R&D network of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises and the efficiency of enterprise technological innovation,and whether the enterprise knowledge base plays an intermediary role in its relationship.The results show that the structural hole of cooperative R&D network of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises has an inverted U-shaped relationship with the efficiency of enterprise technological innovation,the connection strength of cooperative R&D network of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises has a positive correlation with the efficiency of enterprise technological innovation,the width of enterprise knowledge base plays an intermediary role in the relationship between the structural hole of cooperative R&D network of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises and the efficiency of enterprise technological innovation,and the depth of enterprise knowledge base plays an intermediary role in the relationship between the connection strength of cooperative R&D network of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises and the efficiency of enterprise technological innovation.Finally,according to the results of empirical analysis,based on the different situations of enterprises in the cooperative R&D network,select typical enterprises for case analysis,and put forward specific suggestions to improve the technological innovation efficiency of pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises in China. |
