The Impact Of China’s Digital Economy On The Quality Of Urbanization

Economic and social development makes a substantial increase in productivity,which contributed to the development of high-tech.Nowadays,the digital economy relying on cloud computing,big data,AI and other technologies has brought earth-shaking changes to the development of economy and society,and is an important means for the country to realize modernization.Economic development is the premise of people ’s happy life and the basic guarantee of people ’s happy life.With the transformation of the main social contradictions,people ’s needs for a better life are increasingly on the agenda.The development of urbanization is accompanied by the pace of economic development.Compared with the initial stage of economic development,the extensive economic development mode and the extensive urbanization mode obviously cannot meet the people ’s needs for a better life and the people ’s pursuit of quality of life.The development of urbanization in China has achieved remarkable results,but there are also many problems.The quality of urbanization has increasingly become the focus of attention of the country,academia and people.In order to further improve the quality of urbanization,it is urgent to analyze the influencing factors of urbanization quality.At the same time,the digital economy has also promoted the improvement of urbanization quality.The development of digital technology in urban governance,urban services,industrial integration and digital infrastructure has a positive impact on the improvement of urbanization quality.However,there are few studies on the impact of digital economy on the quality of urbanization,and the academic community has not yet reached a consistent conclusion.This is also the possible innovation of this paper.By constructing an index system that conforms to the actual urbanization quality in China,the urbanization quality at the urban level in China is measured.Through empirical test,this paper analyzes the impact of digital economy on the quality of urbanization,and through the empirical evidence of Chinese cities,provides experience for domestic and foreign cities to promote the quality of urbanization through the development of digital economy.Therefore,based on the impact of digital economy on the quality of urbanization,this paper discusses the impact of digital economy on the quality of urbanization.By collecting data at the municipal level of 167 cities in China from 2018 to 2020,regression analysis is used to observe the effect of digital economy on the quality of urbanization at the city level in China.By taking the degree of industrial agglomeration and entrepreneurial activity as mediating variables,the mediating effect model is used to explore the specific path of digital economy affecting the quality of urbanization.The empirical results of the research show that the digital economy has a significant positive impact on the improvement of the quality of urbanization,that is,cities can promote the improvement of the quality of urbanization through the development of the digital economy,and the robustness test is conducted through tail shrinking treatment,and the endogenous test is conducted by the instrumental variable method.The results show that the promotion of the digital economy on the quality of urbanization is robust.Among the four sub dimensions of the digital economy,urban governance has the most obvious promotion effect on the quality of urbanization,that is,urban governance is an important direction for the improvement of urbanization governance in the digital economy.Through the examination of the mechanism by which the digital economy affects the quality of urbanization,it is not difficult to see that the digital economy mainly achieves the improvement of urbanization quality by improving the degree of industrial agglomeration.Moreover,the digital economy can have an impact on the quality of urbanization by improving innovation.Based on the research results,it is proposed to vigorously develop the digital economy,strengthen urban services,urban governance,and promote the quality of urbanization through industrial integration;Promote industrial agglomeration and innovation and entrepreneurship through the digital economy,thereby achieving the improvement of urbanization.The construction of urbanization quality is the trend of the times,which is of great significance in alleviating the imbalanced and insufficient development and meeting the growing needs of the people for a better life.However,as a new business form,the digital economy does not have mature experience to learn from in the development process.Promoting the quality of urbanization through the digital economy will inevitably encounter many problems.I hope that the conclusions of this study can better promote the development of digital economy in various regions,promote the construction of urbanization land and the construction of urbanization quality,and accelerate the construction of a new type of urbanization with shared construction and governance in various regions.
