Study On The Influence Of Agricultural Material Input On Grain Yield

Food security concerns the national economy and the people’s livelihood.Especially in the special context of the unstable global economic situation,it is particularly important to ensure the national food production and supply.The input of agricultural materials is the most critical factor that affects the grain yield.The study of its input-output efficiency has theoretical and practical significance for agricultural production.This paper studies the input-output effect and threshold value of agricultural inputs by using fixed effect model and threshold effect model based on the data of agricultural inputs and grain production in China’s main grain-producing areas from 2006 to 2020.The study found that: 1.Among the four types of agricultural materials,the amount of chemical fertilizer and the amount of agricultural film used have a positive correlation with the grain yield,with the impact coefficients of 0.344 and0.397,respectively.The total power of agricultural machinery and the amount of agricultural diesel oil have no significant impact on the grain yield.2、 Among the four types of agricultural materials,there is a single threshold effect on the amount of chemical fertilizer,the total power of agricultural machinery and the amount of agricultural diesel oil,with the threshold values of 213.5349,5749.4150 and131.0382.Specifically,when the amount of chemical fertilizer input is less than213.5349 tons,the impact of chemical fertilizer input on the grain yield is 15.035 units for each 1% increase in the amount of input;When the input is greater than213.5349 tons,the impact of fertilizer input on grain yield is 8.155 units for each1% increase in input;When the power input of agricultural machinery is less than5749.4150 kw,the impact of machinery input on grain output is 0.352 units per 1%increase in input;When the input is more than 5749.4150 kw,the impact of mechanical input on grain output is 0.250 units for each 1% increase in input;When the input of agricultural diesel is less than 131.038 tons,the impact of agricultural diesel input on grain output is 21.729 units for each 1% increase in input;When the input is greater than 131.038 tons,the impact of its input on grain output is 11.129 units for each 1% increase in input.By studying the impact of grain yield and agricultural materials on it,the following suggestions are proposed to further ensure food security: 1.Popularize scientific fertilization technology and promote the integration of water and fertilizer;2.Promote agricultural film covering technology to prevent and control agricultural film pollution;3.Fully promote agricultural mechanization and promote the modernization of agricultural technology;4.Stabilize the sown area of grain and ensure the main battlefield of grain production;...
