Study On The Evaluation Of Poverty Alleviation Effect Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry In Weiyuan County,Gansu Province

In 2020,China has achieved all the rural poor people out of poverty under the current standards.As an important measure to precisely help the poor and enhance the endogenous motivation of poor areas and people,industrial poverty alleviation has played an important role in improving the operational income and property income level of poor households and effectively improving their lives.At present and in the future,China still needs to strengthen industrial poverty alleviation to solve the problem of relative poverty and comprehensively promote rural revitalization.The effectiveness of industrial poverty alleviation has a direct impact on the long-term development of industries and the smooth completion of poverty alleviation work.Studying poverty alleviation performance can effectively monitor the effectiveness of poverty alleviation,which is extremely beneficial for improving the efficiency of industrial poverty alleviation,increasing the income range of farmers,and increasing industrial poverty alleviation projects.It can ensure that the poor group "gets rid of true poverty".Based on this,this study takes the poverty alleviation effect of Chinese herbal medicine industry as the breakthrough point,evaluates it from three aspects: economic effect,social effect and ecological effect,and makes a model analysis on the influencing factors of the poverty alleviation effect of Chinese herbal medicine industry from the perspective of farmers,so as to comprehensively and objectively understand the poverty alleviation effect of Chinese herbal medicine industry,with a view to providing basis and ideas for the development of Chinese herbal medicine industry in the subsequent rural revitalization.Based on the theories of sustainable development,participatory development and resource endowment,this paper carried out an evaluation study on the poverty alleviation effect of Chinese herbal medicine industry in Weiyuan County.Through interviews and other forms,the poverty alleviation situation of Chinese herbal medicine industry in Weiyuan County was investigated and analyzed,and the poverty alleviation effect of Chinese herbal medicine industry in Weiyuan County,Gansu Province was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.This paper finds that:(1)The problems existing in the poverty alleviation of Chinese herbal medicine industry in Weiyuan County include: the cultivation of high-quality Chinese herbal medicine varieties is lagging behind,the added value of the industry is not high,the implementation of poverty alleviation policies is not in line with the local actual situation,the driving ability of some leading enterprises and Chinese herbal medicine professional cooperatives is weak,and the research and development and promotion of Chinese herbal medicine agricultural science and technology are insufficient;The reasons for the existing problems include the harsh natural environment,low educational level of farmers,short industrial chain of Chinese herbal medicines,low added value of products,and lack of scientific and technological R&D and popularization talents;(2)The poverty alleviation of traditional Chinese medicine industry in Weiyuan County has increased farmers’ development opportunities,improved farmers’ production skills and obviously increased farmers’ income.The poverty alleviation of traditional Chinese medicine industry has played a certain role in improving the environment.The industrial management mode of production and marketing of traditional Chinese medicine industry in Weiyuan County has not been fully formed,and there is a waste of land resources to some extent;(3)Based on the analysis of the factors influencing the poverty alleviation effect from the perspective of farmers,it can be seen that the most significant effect of Chinese herbal medicine industry is that local farmers have obtained many training opportunities in the process of helping,and farmers’ comprehensive factors such as knowledge level and skill level can be improved,so that they can be competent for more work and get higher income.This kind of teaching people to help with fishing has realized the sustainability of poverty alleviation results.The shortage of family labor force is the main factor limiting farmers’ cultivation and income of Chinese herbal medicines.This is because the cultivation of Chinese herbal medicines requires a large human input,and the lack of local rural labor force makes farmers more inclined to plant crops with low human demand.Therefore,returning the labor force to agriculture and improving the automation level of Chinese herbal medicine cultivation are important ways to increase the output of local Chinese herbal medicines.This thesis suggests that: we should continue to increase the cultivation and support of enterprises and Farmers’ professional cooperatives of Chinese medicinal materials;increase the popularization of knowledge and technology training of Chinese medicinal materials industry to train highly-skilled farmers;implement specialized production;Extend the industrial chain,strengthen the strength of personnel training,to solve technical problems.This study can provide suggestions for Weiyuan County,Gansu to consolidate the achievements of the poverty alleviation industry and link up the development of the Chinese herbal medicine industry effectively in the process of rural revitalization.It can also provide reference for the formulation of industrial poverty alleviation policies in other rural areas.
