China is in a critical period of transition to high-quality economic development.Green technology innovation, with technology as the core and green development concept as the guide,is the key to realize economic ecological civilization. The digital economy is a green economy with low pollution, high penetration and sustainability, which plays an important role in achieving high-quality economic development and helps to promote the multiple-agent participation in green technology innovation. With the successful conclusion of the 13 th Five-Year Plan and the sailing of the 14 th FiveYear Plan, how to achieve green,low-carbon and high-quality economic development under the background of rapid development of the digital economy is a major proposition that needs to be addressed urgently. In view of this, this thesis analyzes the influence mechanism and empirical effect of green technology innovation driven by various actors under the background of digital economy from both theoretical and empirical perspectives, and the main research contents are as follows:Firstly, this thesis analyzes the interaction mechanism among government, public, financial institutions and enterprises based on stakeholder theory, and further uses the evolutionary game approach to construct a four-party evolutionary game model of "government-public-enterprise-financial institutions" to explore the influence of digital economy development on the mechanism of government, public and financial institutions driving. The results show that: digital economy affects the strategy choice of each subject in the game system, thus promoting the evolution toward green technology innovation;the stability of strategy choice of different subjects is influenced by different parameters.Secondly, this thesis constructs a quadratic SD(Systems Dynamics)model of green technology innovation system based on the above evolutionary game model, and analyzes the evolutionary path of each game subject’s strategy choice under different initial states and main parameter values by using numerical simulation software. The results show that a larger initial proportion of multi-agent participation can effectively drive enterprises to reach the steady state more rapidly. The government’s initial strategy choice has a greater impact on enterprises than the public and financial institutions. Moreover, the digital economy impact coefficient, government regulation cost, corporate reputation gain and loss, corporate compensation for public health loss and advocacy,R&D cost, government penalty and government financial subsidy all affect the system. Finally, based on the previous analysis, this thesis further empirically quantifies the impact effect of multi-agent drive green technology innovation under the background of digital economy. The results show that the intensity of governmentimposed environmental regulation, the level of public participation in environmental governance advocacy, and the level of green finance all contribute significantly to the level of corporate green technology innovation, while the promotional effect of public participation in regulation fails. At the same time, the digital economy strengthens the role of multi-subjects in promoting corporate green technology innovation.Further discussion reveals that the impact of multi-subject participation on green technology innovation differs across regions and the moderating effect of the digital economy on the participation of different subjects in green technology innovation differs significantly. This thesis has 44 figures,24 tables and 107 references.
