Vietnam is a traditional agricultural country,its agriculture is more developed,the export of agricultural products is the main economic source of Vietnam.Vietnam’s export of agricultural products,dragon fruit accounted for a relatively high proportion of Vietnam’s exports of fruit,is one of the fruits loved and recognized by all countries.Vietnam’s pitaya exports to Europe,China and many neighboring countries,and China is one of the main export objects of Vietnam’s pitaya.In particular,the formal establishment of the China-asean Free Trade Area has greatly promoted the export of Vietnam pitaya to the Chinese market and promoted the substantial increase of the export quota of Vietnam pitaya to the Chinese market.It is worth noting that with the signing of a zero-tariff agreement between China and Thailand on fruit and vegetable products,Vietnamese dragon fruit exports to the Chinese market are facing increasing competitive pressure.Therefore,it is necessary to further analyze the competitiveness of Vietnam pitaya export in Chinese market.This paper adopts literature analysis induction method,comparative research method and field investigation method to carry out research.Under the guidance of relevant theories,this paper firstly introduces the production and export of Pitaya in Vietnam,and then further analyzes the basic situation of Vietnamese pitaya export to China.Based on these problems,it is found that there are some problems in the export of Pitaya from Vietnam to China market,that is,the lack of famous brands in Vietnam pitaya,the blindness in production,the lack of management concept,the serious impact of pesticide residues on the export of pitaya,and the post-production commercialization of pitaya need to be improved.Secondly,the paper combed and analyzed the competition situation of Chinese pitaya market,mainly analyzed the export and competition situation of Thai pitaya,the competitor of Vietnam pitaya,in order to further determine the advantages and disadvantages of Vietnamese pitaya export in Chinese market.Once again,the competitiveness of Vietnam pitaya export to China market is analyzed from the aspects of cost,price and category.By comparative advantage index and comparative advantage,comprehensive evaluation of Vietnamese dragon fruit export competitiveness.Finally,the countermeasures and suggestions for Vietnam pitaya export to China market were put forward:improving production technology level,vigorously promoting fruit excellent varieties;Accelerate the development of fruit processing industry and actively explore the international market of pitaya;Establish pitaya quality standard and whole quality control system;To improve the level of industrialization and standardize the order of production and management,so as to further enhance the export competitiveness of Vietnam pitaya to The Chinese market.
