Research On Development Strategy Of Tobacco Production In Chaling County Based On SWOT Analysis

Tobacco industry is an important pillar of local economic development in major tobacco growing areas of China.Whether the tobacco production work is good or not is directly related to the "money bag" of tobacco farmers,but also related to the development of tobacco industry.Under the new situation,tobacco commercial enterprises are facing the dual pressure of increasing farmers’ income and enterprise efficiency,which puts forward higher requirements for tobacco production.Chaling county is one of the key tobacco producing counties in Hunan Province.The per capita labor efficiency of tobacco production line ranks in the forefront of the province.Tobacco planting has become the pillar industry of Chaling county economy,and is an important source of county-level fiscal revenue.Although the foundation of tobacco production in Chaling county is good,it is also faced with problems such as large scale stability control pressure and small scale benefit in recent years.How to optimize production system and management system from the production end and supply side,improve the quality and efficiency of tobacco agricultural supply,ensure the effective supply of tobacco,and promote the transformation and upgrading of tobacco production to modern tobacco agriculture,we need to seriously investigate It is an important task of research and continuous exploration.Based on the current situation of tobacco production in Chaling County,this study comprehensively analyzed the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of tobacco industry in Chaling County Based on the important balanced development theory,scale economy theory and circular economy theory in the field of tobacco production,and SWOT analysis method.The research shows that the advantages of tobacco industry in Chaling County are superior ecological conditions,rich natural resources and high tobacco varieties The plant has begun to take shape,the market foundation is good,the talent team is vigorous,the infrastructure is improving day by day,and the production layout planning is appropriate.But there are also obvious disadvantages,such as the weak level of tobacco farmers,the small increase of tobacco purchase price,the gap in the implementation of key technologies,the insufficient scale benefit,the prominent contradiction between supply and demand in tobacco market,the weak ability to resist risks,and the low level of informatization.The opportunities mainly come from the policy environment,industrial development prospects and market demand,while the external threats are mainly the instability of the economic situation,more passive constraints,the decline of comparative benefits of tobacco varieties,and the improvement of product safety.Based on the experience of tobacco production and development at home and abroad,the optimization strategy of high-quality development of tobacco industry in Chaling County was formulated to provide theoretical guidance and decision-making reference for the future development of tobacco industry.
