Research On Trade Network Of Agricultural Products Of Belt And Road’s Impact On Export Technology Sophistication

Optimizing the structure of the trade network and improving the technical content of trade are the key elements of my country’s "One Belt One Road" construction.Agriculture is the pillar industry of most countries along the “Belt and Road”,especially developing countries.Expanding and optimizing the agricultural trade network and improving the technical content of agricultural exports are the common demands and key cooperation content of the countries along the route.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to discuss the structural characteristics of the agricultural product trade network of the "Belt and Road" and its impact on the technical complexity of agricultural product export.The research content of this paper mainly includes: first,the use of social network analysis theory to demonstrate the influence mechanism of trade networks on the complexity of export technology;second,the2010-2018 "Belt and Road" based on the HS code chapters 1-24 of the United Nations Trade Database The agricultural product trade data of 60 countries along the route are used to calculate the characteristic indicators of the "Belt and Road" agricultural product trade network and the complexity of export technology using Ucinet6.0 software and corresponding formulas;third,empirical verification of the "Belt and Road" agricultural product trade network is complicated in its export technology Degree of influence.From the theoretical argument,it can be concluded that the theoretical research on the influence of the trade network on the technical complexity of agricultural products exports is mainly analyzed from the three perspectives of network centrality,network connection strength and network difference.Trade networks can be through technology diffusion,economies of scale,and transactions.Expenses affect the technical complexity of the “Belt and Road” agricultural exports,and the centrality of the network,the strength of the network connection and the difference of the network are all positively promoting it.In the full-sample estimation,the network centrality has a significant impact on it.Both out-degree centrality and in-degree centrality have a positive impact,while relative centrality has a negative impact.The outgoing intensity passes the significance test,but the incoming intensity and the point intensity fail the significance test.The outgoing intensity and incoming intensity have a positive influence on it,and the point intensity has a negative influence on it.The network discrepancy passed the 5% significance test,and for every additional unit,the complexity of export technology increased by 0.007 units.In quantile regression,the degree of centrality,relative centrality,point intensity and difference have a negative impact on the complexity of its export technology,and the rest have a positive impact.Based on the above research conclusions,this article proposes policy recommendations to promote the steady increase in the technical complexity of agricultural exports from China and the countries along the“Belt and Road”:(1)Promote the increase in the technical complexity of agricultural exports from the “Belt and Road” through trade networks,and(2)vigorously cultivate Agricultural high-tech talents,(3)Pay attention to promoting the facilitation of agricultural trade and the improvement of the degree of opening up to the outside world.
