| With the acceleration of economic globalization,China’s foreign trade in agricultural products is increasing, but it is also facing huge risks. The uncertainty of the economic situation increases the probability of risks."the Belt and Road" has brought challenges and opportunities to China’s agricultural trade.Building a trade network of agricultural products between China and the countries along the " the Belt and Road " is conducive to study of the characteristics of the network and help strengthen trade links in the network. This paper uses the agricultural product trade data from 2000 to 2019 to construct the agricultural trade network between China and the countries along the " the Belt and Road",then use block model analysis to expand China’s import source, and use QAP method to find out the influencing factors of trade network to provide suggestions and promoting the " the Belt and Road " initiative. The study found that: Firstly,Because the "the Belt and Road" initiative, the density of the network has become higher, and trade between countries has become more frequent.Secondly, some Southeast Asian and South Asian countries such as Indonesia,Malaysia, and India play an important role in the network, and China is increasingly showing its central role and intermediary role.Thirdly, the number of countries shows an increasing trend from core to semi-edge to edge.Fourthly, the entire agricultural product trade network is divided into four sectors, and both the main spillover sector and the two-way trade sector have spillover effects on China’s major imported agricultural products. Finally, the QAP analysis results show that the signing of trade agreements is conducive to strengthening trade ties among countries and making the agricultural product trade network closer, while differences in national systems have a significant inhibitory effect on this network.Differences in arable land area, economic development level and The conclusion of trade agreements makes the agricultural trade network closer, and the difference in global governance index and geographical distance will weaken the tightness of the agricultural trade network. Therefore,China needs to identify its own positioning, expand agricultural trade partners in corresponding block according to different categories of agricultural products, and actively carry out trade agreement negotiations with countries along the "Belt and Road" to deepen trade cooperation. |
