With the advent of economic globalization and knowledge-based innovation economy,competition among human resources has become an important factor affecting the development of enterprises,and how to improve employee performance has become a key task of human resource management.The improvement of employees’ work performance can not only improve the competitiveness of an enterprise,but also affect the ability of innovation and sustainable development of the enterprise,and play a decisive role in the development of the enterprise.However,most companies only pay attention to the obvious and macro factors that affect performance when improving employee performance,and it is easy to ignore hidden and micro factors(such as employee happiness,etc.),thus encountering bottlenecks in improving employee performance.It also have a certain impact on the production and operation activities of enterprises.This article studies how to improve employees’ work performance from the perspective of employee well-being.The research is based on relevant theories and literature on employee well-being and work performance,taking SDXH pharmaceutical company employees as the research object,using a mature employee well-being and work performance scale,investigating the company’s employees’ well-being and work performance levels,and verifying the three dimensions of employee well-being(life well-being,work well-being,and psychological well-being)are positively correlated with work performance.Some problems in employee well-being are also discovered,and,at last,work performance improvement strategy based on employee well-being is proposed.This article enriches the theoretical research on employee well-being and work performance,helps guide companies to improve employee well-being and work performance,and helps improve the harmonious labor relationship between the company and employees.Due to the constraints of various subjective and objective factors such as measurement dimensions and sample size,this research may not be completely consistent with the actual situation of the company,but it is still expected to provide theoretical support for the company’s human resource management in improving employee happiness and work performance.To stimulate employees’ ability to work independently,so as to provide help for the improvement of the company’s competitiveness and innovation capabilities.
