Since the beginning of the20th century, the film industry haddeveloped gradually,Western countries began to regard the movie as asecondary education to promote cultural tools. At that time, China is beingin the internal and external period, so it became the main issue of socialpublic education to inspired people fighting spirit and carried forward thenational spirit. Using educational film, broadcasting and auxiliary slide, thesociety and school education became an important form of education at thattime.National Educational Cinematographic Society of China co-founded bythe politicians, the educational sector and the film industry on the researchand promotion of the educational film society groups, was established onJuly8,1932and was the earliest association for educational filmapplication.With the main reference to the original data---calendar annual meetingconference report of Education and the Motion Picture Association, thespecial issue and edition, Chapter annual, membership directory, moviesYearbook, compiled by the Association for various publications, as well asmembers of the Association writing, editing, translation monographs,memoirs and translations and other publications. This study elaboratedChina’s first professional audio-visual education research community fully,to clarify the background and overview of the establishment of theEducation and the Motion Picture Association Lay on the historical data.The result is that it is the main reason for the association created theparticular social background and the history of the environment andcontributed to the association active in power. By the Association ofintroduction of technology, personnel training and education activitiesarrangements and implementation aspects of analysis and research, summedup the association in the social impact and the historical role of theremarkable achievements made in particular on the development of earlyeducational important contribution. At the same time, the Members of the educational film theory for the development of early Chinese education asystematic theoretical system.Thesis using the research methods included: field survey, case studies,historical and comparative law. Literature analysis and mining, literature,and conduct research on the historical data that has been excavated, andtrying to restore the original appearance of historical development by theNational edcational cinematographic society of China; articles by fieldsurvey method ti visit the places, such as Nanjing and Chongqing libraries.Bying collect the data and using the raw data to examine the historicalbackground of events; using the case study method can analys the peoplewho has an important contribution to the Association and events. Thereforeintroducing them to the National edcational cinematographic society ofChina, the contribution well as audio-visual education thought formationand development; through the history of comparative law at that time withthe different periods educational method comparison, the analysis showsthat the educational activities of the Association on the role and impact ofaudio-visual education.This thesis was introduced the main activities of the Nationaledcational cinematographic society of China before1937including: MotionPicture Association to participate in international education; organizationconference; homemade, purchase and exchange of educational films;educational film screenings for the purposes of that tour and implementationmovie teaching; excellent domestic movie contest, participate ininternational educational film contest; preparation of Film Yearbook. Duringthe1937, the organization moved to Sichuan main activities include: movieteaching implementation; filming educational videos; survey of domesticfilm; participate in the joint annual meeting; monthly meetings organized bythe cultural sector; Steering Shanghai Branch; additional Hong Kong Branch.Shanghai Branch is one of the educational film is the most active club in theclub’s activities, the efforts of the Chinese member, founder of the firstaudio-visual education professional journal "Educational Technology" (monthly), and the establishment of the China Film education suppliescompany.The research for association of Chinese education films focus on theirown published journals and translated two aspects of the introduction, theAssociation for self-published publications include: The Associationpublished China Film Yearbook, this is the first comprehensive film theorycomprehensive reference book; Association conference report, the specialissue special issue journals have details. Internationally, the Nationaledcational cinematographic society of China Italian Saar to film andtranslations, for example, the book is mainly Saar land records anddiscussion of educational tours to China. On behalf of the representatives ofthe Association and its Educational Technology ideological aspects, thereare some important association’s figures, such as Cai Yuanpei, Guo Youshou,Chen Yousong, Sun Mingjing.This paper argues that the main contribution of the National edcationalcinematographic society of China includes:1. The Association attaches greatimportance to international exchanges, a place in the International EducationFilm Development. The Association actively participated in various filmscontests, international conferences and educational visit exchanges, thepromotion of friendly relations among nations and the international status ofChina;2. One of the purposes of the Association for the development ofeducational movies is to improve the public cultural literacy, to arousepublic enthusiasm, especially during the war, educational films largelyarouse patriotic revolutionary spirit of the people;3. Educational filmassociations active in the domestic video contest, largely stimulatedlocalization of educational films, and filmed the enthusiasm of the domesticfilm;4.In the School education, following out the movies teaching canconstitute the early educational auxiliary model.The study found that the historical role of the National edcationalcinematographic society of China includes:1.This Association developedstandards of educational films and created a favorable environment for the development of the educational film.2. It forms the early film educationtheory and practice of comprehensive by linking the promotion of educationmovie careers to education.3. The educational activities in the Nationaledcational cinematographic society of China, not only adds vitality for thecommunity education, and also expands the scope of teaching, improveteaching efficiency.4. It also creates a new model of social education.Members of the Association to absorb advanced film education ideology,combined with China’s education environment, optimize the teachingmethod.
