The United States is the birthplace of Educational Technology, and is always a world leader. Although as a field, a science, are Educational Technology is very young, But regardless of the world Education in the 20th Century, or the world education in the 21st century, the development of Educational Technology can not be ignored. In the first half of the 20th century, the United States formed a series of theories and methods, and accumulated much valuable experience , which laid a good foundation for Educational Technology . Therefore, re-examining the development ,the theory of evolution, history and other basic practice and experience in this subject has become the key to building and development.In this study, for the sequence of historical development, through the literature on law and logic analysis, theory and practice of American Education Technology development for the study in the first half of the 20th century, nearly 20 years the United States on the development of Educational Technology theoretical research results were analyzed and compared. Summary from the U.S. Educational Technology theory and practice of the development feature and history experience in 20th century to the first half, Summed up the characteristics of educational technology development and historical experience and put forward the future development of educational technology trends and strategies,so that education in succession and draw on the basis of historical experience, and promote technical education theory and practice of development.
