The new century, in the era of knowledge economy to change the theme of educational technology in China, is facing a huge challenge. The research achievements of China’s history of educational technology, has been basically describes the history from the development of audio-visual education to educational technology development, the initial formation of the framework of "history" of educational technology in china.Audio-visual education is an important stage of the process of China’s educational technology development, research on educational history "is a key work of history" educational technology Chinese. In common, the national audio-visual education universality to particularity, to explore local educational diversity, imbalance, through a special place of audio-visual education, diversity, imbalance of the national audiovisual education to further study the commonality, universality. Compared with that between the two, will contribute to a more comprehensive, accurate and summarize the law and experience and lessons of the development of Chinese audio-visual education,better to find a consistent Chinese conditions, with China characteristic educational technology development, the acceleration of China’s education modernization process.Chuanyu audio-visual education started later. The three stage of the development of Sichuan and Chongqing audiovisual education is divided into: the initial stage(1936-1949 years), the stage of Foundation(1949-1978 years), development period(1978-1993 years). Based on the study of Chinese audio-visual education history, based on "the unity of history and logic", the "historical research", "comparative study", "investigation", with "the thought history research, based on the further supplement", collation and analysis of relevant historical materials of Sichuan and Chongqing audio-visual education to study the history of education, and fill in the blank, "study of the history of" educational technology China slightly more effort.
