3D laser scanning technology is a high-tech developed in recent years. It can obtain 3D information fast through high-speed laser measurement method, provide scientific and accurate 3D models, it also solved the problems of acquiring three-dimensional data for 3D GIS.In this thesis, we firstly introduced the operation method about acquiring three-dimensional data by using three-dimensional laser scanning technology, then based on the research of data processing method of the software Cyclone and Geomagic, we spliced the point-cloud data, made coordinate conversion, denoised and modeled, established the 3D factory model for 3D GIS. Secondly, based on computer graphics, the technologies of three-dimensional visualization and human-computer interaction, a interactive visualization 3D GIS platform of factory has been developed by applying three-dimensional rendering engine OpenScenceGraph. Thirdly, we optimized the plant models by using the level of detail technology, converted them to the unique format that is supported by the system, added them to the Topo GIS by using dynamic scheduling technology, finishing the construction of three-dimensional digital factory.In this paper, we combined the 3D laser scanning factory models with the 3D-GIS for the first time, achieved the rapid construction of a large-scale three-dimensional factory scene with the functions of interactive roaming, attribute editing, information query and so on. With the engineering projects, we developed hot work management, ground-breaking management, maintenance management and spatial analysis closely related to the business. It provides technical support for enterprises optimizing management and making decision, improves the original operating mode and brings great convenience for industrial production.
