| With the help of the computer technology and the GIS theory,the departed regional geological surveying maps have been digitized and thespatial database of the digital geological map has been established. It isdesigned in the method of the spatial blocking, special topic layering, and theinterconnection of spatial data and attributive data, so it supports thebidirectional retrieval between map graphics and attributive data. Theconstruction of the spatial database adopts the classical data model of thetopological structure in the reasonable technical line applying the MAPGISand the ARCINFO software systems, and the quality has been monitoredscientifically and reasonably and the data fruits has been submitted in themultiformity in the course of construction of the spatial database.
