In order to adapt the computer science and the information science development, service the social well, the final regional geological survey achievement all must include the establishment of geologic map spatial database.As the core of GIS, The spatial database is the base of the GIS technological development, whereas the spatial data model is the core and foundation of the spatial database. Presently, the object-oriented geography database model is the typical representation of the spatial database model in the geographic technology.Area digital geological survey mapping technology transformed to the advanced technology and theory from the tradition method mainly by the manpower.
