| Research on comprehensive evaluation of county sustainable development, is based on the viewpoint of sustainable development in county district, analyses and appraises the sustainable development level of the area comprehensively.With the prevalence of sustainable development concept and its all-sided implement, the necessary and imminence for carrying out comprehensive evaluation of sustainable development became more and more prominent. Nevertheless, the system info of comprehensive evaluation of regional sustainable development in our country needs to be perfected. And the research on this aspect, especially on the county-level, keeps relatively less. Therefore, it has a highly important significance to carry out theoretical and practical research on comprehensive evaluation of county sustainable development.This paper analyses the internal and international research on the history and actuality of comprehensive evaluation of regional sustainable development, and summarized its theory and methods, then investigates it gropingly. After that, combining the character of county district, establishes a comprehensive evaluation index system. While demonstrating the theoretics, this paper also makes out apractical exploration------carrying out an comprehensive evaluation of sustainabledevelopment in Weihui county of Henan province.
