When using plasticity forming process the spline rolling, because the large range of load changes, shock loading, high-precision machined to ensure the spline, positioning accuracy of the feed system demanding, so generally high-grade rolling machine is used electro-hydraulic proportional to realize radial feed of the machine. Whether work normal or bad of dynamic characteristics of rolling machine hydraulic system was determined the key of spline quality and output. The paper was modeled and simulated for electro-hydraulic proportional system of NC spline rolling machine to base on AMESim software, and combined with experiment of parameter identification, studied dynamic characterizes of NC spline rolling machine, results applied to NC spline rolling machine prototype of our university development.The major work completed as follows: discussed research status of spline rolling machine domestic and abroad, according to the movement requirement and load characteristics in spline cold rolling machine, modeling hydraulic system of spline rolling machine in AMESim which is concerning hydraulic / mechanical system modeling and simulation and dynamics analysis, and built the mathematical model of spool movement of proportional direction valve and power structure of hydraulic cylinder, and obtained the transfer function of position control system. According to the model, the position accuracy of hydraulic cylinder is simulated and the simulation results are analyzed in detail under the two conditions that without considering the load characteristics and considering the load characteristics. One of the innovations of the thesis lies in applying the modal analysis tools in AMESim to calculating the natural frequency and the damping ratio range of hydraulic system of spline rolling machine.According to characteristic of the Computer Numerical Control spline rolling machine,designed the PID controller and use of genetic algorithm in AMESim to optimizing the PID parameter. To test the simulation results, designed electro-hydraulic proportional position control pilot scheme, built electro-hydraulic proportional control simulation test system for spline rolling machines based on TC-GY03, an intelligent hydraulic transmission integrated test control system. The results show that the control is of high stability and accuracy and can meet the requirements of control performance of hydraulic system of spline rolling machine, verifying the correctness of simulation. The reasonable structural parameters through simulating being applied to the actual project have proved a correct and effective control strategy.Thesis work is mainly directed against the spline rolling machines this special machine, the purpose of this paper is to provide a theoretic support for the design and control of hydraulic system of spline rolling machine under special loadings in the spline rolling process processing by studying its dynamic properties through parameter identification and modeling. The research approach used in this paper has some reference value for various uses electro-hydraulic proportional control of position control system.
