Aconitum is a famous wild flower in Ranunculaceae plants with high ornamental value in China. The flower is beautiful and colorful. The blue flowers gives the people a quiet and cool feeling. The beautiful plant is a valuable gene pool in our blue flowers. Aconitum belongs to the alpine flower, which has upright vertical stem and well developed inflorescence, also has a very strong resistance to cold. So, the flowers has tremendous potential in a single flower production in China. However, for Since the Aconitum resource distribution condition is not clear, some resource has been destroyed by medical exploit, and very few studying on garden. For all above the problem, the higher value view plant which distribute in north China and having tremendous potential in cut flower were investigated in detail. Based on the systematic investigation of the existing species and cultivars of Aconitum in north China in detail, morphology, introduction, cultivation and the landscape application are used to sift the material of cut flowers which are being suitable to our national condition, and the cut flower standard first has been worked out. The main conclusion as follows:1. Based on thorough investigation and research in north China, 11 Aconitum species which are A. kusnezoffi, A. barbatum Pers. var. puberulum, A. soogaricum var. angustius, A. coreanum, A. scaposum, A. sinomonatanum, A. albo-vioiolaceum, A. flavum, A. racemulosum, A. taipeicum, A. carmichaeli are found. The author concluded that A. kusnezoffi, A. barbatum Pers. var. puberulum, A. soogaricum var. angustius, A. coreanum, A. scaposum, A. sinomonatanum, A. albo-vioiolaceum, A .flavum, A. racemulosum are worth highly viewing and admire value , which are used to cut flowers and potted flowers.2. Based on view observe and vase life, the author sift A. kusnezoffi , A.carmichaeli and A. soogaricum var. angustius which are used to be cut flowers. The maximal vase life of the A. kusnezoffi and A. soogaricum var. angustius is about 7 days and 9days, and the falling flower phenomenon is not obvious, so they are suit to cut flowers. Based studying in experiment and theory, the standard was worked out firstly.3. Studying on the seeds of A. kusnezoffi, A. barbatum Pers. var. puberulum, A. soogaricum var. angustius, A. soongaricum var. Jeholense, A. sinomonatanum. The result is indicate that the germinative percentage of Aconitum seeds are lower. Only that , the seeds of A. soogaricum var. angustius, A. barbatum Pers. var. puberulum and A. albo-vioiolaceum which have reached respectively 15.56%, 51.11% and 7.78% are sprout with out any handle. But, after different GA3 concentration the seeds dormancy are break, and the germinative percentage is high improve, especially the germinative percentage of A. soogaricum var. angustius, A. barbatum Pers. var. puberulum and A. sinomonatanum which have reached 65.57%, 94.45% and 68.89%. The way of different storage has also effected on the seeds of germinative. The result indicated that the germinative of A. soogaricum var. angustius, A. barbatum Pers. var. puberulum and A. albo-vioiolaceum has been improved, which have reached respectively 92.67%,93.33% and 53.33%. The time of the begin germinating has been shorted from 10 days to 6 days.4. On the basis of A. carmichaeli and A. coreanum root tuber in appropriate storage and breeding, the result obviously show that the root tuber is the most suitable after depositing -2℃ refrigerates for 8 weeks. After entering a greenhouse, the rate of emergence may reach 53.3% and obvious growth better than others. The objective of this study is to protivde scientific bases for establishment of Aconitum cultivars pool, introduction and domesticate, sifted cut flowers, protection of resources and landscape application in Aconitum L.
