Objective The objective is to investigate the present occupational health situation of Zhongyuan Oilfield thoroughly, especially the situation of carrying through the Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Act, P.R.China (the Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Act) being come into effect, to seek the primary problems lying in the daily grind of occupational health, and to put forward the solutions to solve it. For the sake of Zhongyuan Oilfield's carrying out HSE administering system ( Health Safety Environment administering system) in all aspects, and preventing the occupational disease and work-related disease, and doing occupational-health work well, accordingly to lay the basis of exploiting the exterior market better; and present the reference for Moses. Methods Adopt the method of cross-sectional investigation. The contents include the kinds of the occupational-disease-inductive factors in the oilfield production, the existent location, the number of the exposed factors; the occupational-disease- prevention facilities; the exposed laborers' circumstance for occupational health surveillance, and the circumstance of occupational disease victims; implementing the Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Act, etc.Results1. There are 58 units in Zhongyuan Oilfield having the occupational -disease- inductive factors, the total harmful workplace is add up to 900, the occupational- disease-inductive factors existing in major workplaces are: welding fumes and dust, noise, benzene, hydrocarbon ,etc.2. The inspection rate of the occupational-disease-inductive factors in the workplace is 23.0%, the inspection result of the workplace occupational-disease-inductive factors that dose not meet the national standard of occupational health are noise, cement dust, coal dust, foundry dust, microwave, etc. The rate meeting the national standard in noise is very lower. It's only 44.6 % in artesian well, and 65.3% in oil extraction, especially on the post of diesel engine, the post of generating electricity in artesian well, the post of dehydration, the post of gas-raising, and on the post of affusion in oil extraction, noise sound pressure level is much higher, their LAeqs are 103.7dB(A), 103.7dB(A), 98.0dB(A), 96.0dB(A) and 88.3dB(A). The concentration of cement dust is much higher in the operation of mixing cement on the post of reinforce wells. The maximum value of STEL is 98.2rng/m3, TWA 7.73mg/m3. The maximum concentration of foundry dust is in the work of clearing away sand, the maximum value of STEL is 20.4mg/m3. Coal dust is in the conveyer belt of heating production, the maximum value of STEL is 37.6mg/m3, the maximum value of TWA is 7.2mg/m3. Microwave in the workplace dose not meet the national standard is in TV-station and communication company, the maximum value is 117 u W/ cm . The concentration of welding fumes and dust, gasoline, benzene and ammonia meet the national standard of occupational health. The inspection results for radioactive source all meet the radiological protection standard, the rate meeting the national standard in the inspection results of X-ray machine is over 90% .3. There are 10,823 laborers who exposed to the occupational -disease-inductive factors, 7,962 laborers are men and 2,861 are women. Theoccupational-disease- inductive factors exposed by majority of workers are: noise, welding fumes and dust, gasoline, radiation and so on.4. The rate of the on-job physical examination for the laborers who exposed the occupational-
