Objective: To overcome the dificiencies of current methods for construction project evaluation, we try to introduce the means of safety risk assessment and environmental risk assessment into the occupational health evaluation field, establish the risk evaluation model, explanate workplace occupational disease risk more scientificly, in order to promote the construction unit improve workplace occupational disease hazard management, strengthen targeted occupational health investment and implement engineering protection, protect the laborers' health. Methods: To collect the methods used international widely, such as the risk assessment method of ICMM, Queensland risk rank method, Singapore semi-quantitative risk assessment method, and choose oil industry current focus fields - oil and gas offshore and onshore polymer flooding oil - to practice the assessment, and compared the conclusions with that of the current occupational health assessment methods. Results: The risk assessment includes risk identification, exposure assessment, risk estimation and evaluation of occupational hazards in three parts. Risk identification work in the interest not only to the normal production process, but more to focus on the analysis of non-normal production process (inspection maintenance, accidents and incidents) and work aspects of major hazard sites. After analysis comprehensively occupational hazards in the oil platform offshore, hydrogen sulfide woule be determined the main risk assess factor. Taking into account of the consequences and the possibility of occurrence of hydrogen sulfide hazard and the uncertainties in the process, results of risk assessment analysised by both ICMM and Queensland risk matrix calculation method are all substantial, and its control measures is to collec information on hydrogen sulfide hazards and accidents, the hydrogen sulfide hazards for workers and protection training and education, on time for health care, strengthen the wellhead, separator, vibrating screen, in addition to hydrogen sulfide gas concentration monitoring device, etc., implement well hydrogen sulfide leak emergency rescue work. After analysis comprehensively occupational hazards in the polymer driving flood project, formaldehyde (crosslinking agent) woule be determined the main risk assess factor. Select Queensland risk scoreboard, Singapore semi-quantitative risk assessment method to analysis the occupationa hazard, formaldehyde health hazard rank (HR) for the four, the job-site inspection and analysis of employee exposure frequency, exposure time and calculated the total work time exposure rating (ER) 2 level, consolidated level of health hazard and exposure classification results, the risk level 3. Protective measures to be taken for the implementation of occupational disease management system, strengthen education and training of occupational health of workers, monitoring the implementation of occupational health operating procedures, regular occupational hazards in the workplace were detected. Conclusion: The risk assessment of occupational hazards in the workplace can not only identify the major risk factors and key risk factors, but also gives workers the level of exposure to occupational health risks, which will help workers maintain their own rights; through risk assessment work, it not only promote the construction unit in accordance with the ALARP principles of occupational health management and prevention, and provide the parallel level of protective measures with risk to protect worker's health, but also prevent excessive investment, resulting in waste of resources protection. Risk assessment, compared with the existing assessment methods such as analogy, have obvious advantages. Occupational Health and Occupational Safety belong to labor protection in the area of labor relations, in essence, with identity, with identity risk management, analysis methods and technology also has identity; the aim of occupational health protection is, in the essence, to derect the occupational work environment, anticipate the risk factors'diffusion and distribution and evaluate the damage on human health. Environmental impact assessment, in particular the analysis of environmental risk assessment techniques and tools are fully applicable to evaluation of occupational hazards in the work environment. Introducing means and methods of occupational safety risk assessment and environmental risk assessment into occupational health evaluation of construction projects is technically feasible.
