According to the theory of preposition and the theory of teaching Chinese as aforeign language, the author regards the students abroad as research objects andsummarizes the types of their errors, analyzes them, seeks the causes of them, in orderto find the countermeasure.The first chapter is the introduction. In this part, the author introduces the thesisin the main, including content, range, theory adopted, condition and the meaning.In the second chapter, the author analyzes the errors mainly. Firstly the papersums up the familiar errors after concluding the preposition. And then descript thesame points of the errors according to the grammar and tell us the reason of everyerror.The third chapter puts forward some countermeasures and methods to teachpreposition during the Chinese teaching.Aiming at the problems of the students abroad learning Chinese, this paperconnects the theory grammar and the teaching grammar according to the character ofChinese and teaching Chinese as a foreign language to find out the best methods. Thiscan not only help the foreigners to grasp the Chinese language, but also accelerate theteaching and editing of the teaching materials.
