This article, in the light of scientific professional guidance theories and in consideration of the current professional guidance education situation; has systematically undertaken comprehensive studies from both academic and practical perspective and then come up with the corresponding educational policy recommendations that are aimed to meet the actual needs of the students from the Secondary vocational school. This Article is comprised of five parts: Part One is Preamble;Part Two, beginning with introduction on the birth of professional guidance education, addressed the current status of professional guidance education in China as well as abroad, and shed light on the new development on the modern professional guidance which was driven by the theory of person to profession matching and the theory of profession development guidance. In addition, this part also pointed out the areas still need improvement; Part Three stressed the importance of professional guidance in the Secondary vocational school from both academic and practical angle, and the primary objectives in professional guidance; Part Four introduced the formats, approaches and channels utilized in professional guidance. Furthermore, the author of this Article made recommendations as to the feasible responding strategy, from the perspective of education policies, including construction of the course of professional guidance, professional quality training, the consciousness of starting up business and professional career designing. Part Five, the Conclusion.
