Objective In order to investigate the level of awareness rate of nutrition and Health knowledge influence factors and disease situation about tuberculosis among tuberculosis patients, so as to provide directions for TB treatment and education.Methods Totally 1713 tuberculosis patients and 1608 matched group people were selected as subjects from Tancheng and Yishui. Face-to-face questionnaires were carried out by trained professional investigators, mainly included basic situation, disease situation, the psychology and behavior habit and knowledge about diet; and physical examination and clinical laboratory testing were carried out, included height, weight, blood pressure, hemoglobin, fasting plasma glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein, alanine transaminase, aspertate aminotranferase and glutamy transferase. Results The tuberculosis patient group blood pressure levels was 15.94%, it was lower than matched group(24.13%) (p< 0.01); the prevalence rate of Hypertension and high triglyceride were 6.71% and 5.78%, it was lower than matched group(12.13%å'Œ13.49%); during tuberculosis patient group, fasting blood-glucose and angular were 5.55% and 10.92%, it were higher than matched group(4.73%å'Œ3.80%). The tuberculosis patient group's awareness rate of nutrition knowledge was low. The awareness rate of 5 kinds of nutrients which people needed was only 9.5%,18.2% of tuberculosis patient group knew that the vegtables containing higher water-soluble vitamins, it were lower than matched group(p<0.01); 2.9% and 4.4%of tuberculosis patient group knew that what factors can cause hypertensio and how to prevent hypertension, the awareness rate of symptoms of diabetes and what factors can cause diabetes were 15.6% and 11.3%, it were lower than matched group. Even, the awareness rate of symptoms of tuberculosis was 34.5%, it was lower than matched group40.2% (p<0.01).Conclusion During tuberculosis patient group, the prevalence rate of obesity and diabetes were higher, and the prevalence rate of hypertension, cholesterol and triglycerides were lower; the awareness rate of nutrition and disease prevention knowledge were lower, it explained that the nutrition was bad and health knowledge lacked, it suggests that dietary nutrition guidance should be strengthened and health education should be promoted at the same of anti-tuberculosis treatment.
