This article simulates the temper rolling process of two-high sheet-rollingmill by using finite element software-Abaqus, considering2D and3Delastic-plastic finite element method. Accomplish the finite element simulationunder the condition of different thickness,friction coefficient, force of bendingroll, inconcluding the influence of these factors, the distribution and form reasonof each longitudinal deformation areas. Meanwhile, indicating the reason ofproducing failure forms,such as roll face spalling and edge drop, supplying anew method and reference for analysing and controlling the strip shape. Franklyspeaking, the main tasks include the following ones:1)、By analysing kinds of nonlinearity and the steel strip deformationcharacteristics of temper rolling process, building the reasonable finite elementanalysis model, concluding the deformation distribution in the strip contactarea,obtaining the numerical basis of the deformation area existing from thepoint of view of the numerical analysis, enriching and developing the rollingdeformation theory;2)、Concluding the relation between the rolling force, bending force,friction coefficient, rolling speed, before and after tension and the stripelongation and shape from the point of view of the numerical analysis;3)、Concluding the mechanics basis of appearing the roll surface spalling,strip edge drop and poor shape from the point of view of the numerical analysis,providing the solution method to overcome these failure modes,developing theindusty of steel temper rolling process.
