Culture teaching has been the hot topic in the field of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL). Manifestation of culture varies in all aspects of our daily life. One should combine it with the culture in language teaching because of the close link between language and culture. For China with over five thousand years history, its breadth and depth of cultural knowledge are incomparable and it is demanded that much importance should be attached to culture teaching in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL).The ability of listening and speaking are basic to master a language and they are indispensable to any language. As long as one is equipped with the ability of listening and speaking, he can do the research about language theory correspondingly. In the class of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL), listening class and oral Chinese class are just the basic. Recently, some scholars have proposed that listening class and oral Chinese class be combined into listening and speaking course. But no matter they are divided or combined; they still play an important role in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL). However, the ability to listen and speak should be applied to our daily life and accord with the fixed pattern of Chinese. Therefore, it is required that Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL), should be combined with culture teaching and it won’t do without anyone of them.There still exits some problems in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In most cases, cultural classes are offered separately split off from daily life and communication of students. As a result there is no any practical ignorance in Chinese teaching. What’s more, most researches on culture teaching are only some statements based on experience and guided by few actual cases. With the popularization of Chinese Teaching as a Second Language (TCSL), more and more attention is paid to the culture teaching with time going by and the means of culture teaching has also stirred a hot debate. Though culture teaching is important, it can not lessen the significance of language teaching. It is necessary for the teachers to balance them. The best way to deal with the relation between language teaching and culture teaching is to integrate the culture into the process of instructing classes.Consequently, this paper will focus on the introduction of culture in the course of listening and speaking in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL). That is to say, different cultural introductions will be designed for students differing in abilities. In this case, culture teaching will be integrated into listening and speaking class that it can train students’ listening and speaking ability and offer students related knowledge on culture. As a result, it adds interest to the language teaching. The paper is mainly to put teaching methods into practice. Much importance will be attached to the first-hand material and the analysis of their advantages and disadvantages that the conception of cultural introduction based on theory and practice more valid.
