Conventional beam pumping unit has many advantages,such as simple structure,reliable and durable,etc.It plays a significant role in mechanical oil recovery equipment.The rod string is certain elastic long and thin rod,in the process of reciprocating and variable motion,its dynamic load can make the suspension point maximum value increased,the minimum value reduced,eventually,the motor input power is increased and the pumping unit system working efficiency is reduced.In order to overcome the pumping unit system adverse impact brought out by the dynamic load,a kind of air spring beam hanger is designed in this paper.The elastic damping can reduce the effect of dynamic load on the suspension point load,which can result the suspension point maximum value is reduced,and the minimum value is increased.Thus,the motor input power is reduced and it achieves the purpose of saving energy consumption.In this paper,we study the air spring beam hanger influence on suspension point load,by the method combining theory with the indoor and outdoor test.Take CYJ10-3-37 HB pumping unit as research object,first using the virtual prototype technology to simulate and analyze load shedding effect of a certain air pressure of air spring beam hanger,under different frequency of stroke condition.Then the suspension load changing rule can be obtained,according to load shedding effect,the air spring physical parameters and structural parameters are determined.Secondly,establish the three-dimensional structure of air spring beam hanger,and check strength of the key parts,and structural design.Finally,through indoor static tests,the hysteresis characteristics of air spring was studied under different pressure conditions,which will provide a scientific basis for the selection of air spring.The air spring beam hanger devices have been installed on three production wells in the oilfield.The field test is carried.It turned out that air spring beam hanger applied to beam pumping unit,which can effectively decrease the suspension point maximum load of pumping unit,and increase the minimum load at the same time.The average maximum load has a reduction rate of 13.59%,the average alternating load has a reduction rate of 16.46%,the system efficiency has increase rate of 12.84%.Theoretical result is in good agreement with experimental results,so it shows the simulation model is accurate.The research findings lay the foundation of the design,development and engineering application theory and experiment for the air spring beam hanger.
