As the main energy source of China,coal is the cornerstone of national economic development.Therefore,the safety of coal mines is related to the economic development and social stability of the country.China's coal mines have complex geological conditions and accidents can easily occur during coal mining.Gas explosions are one of the major accidents that have affected the safe production of coal mines.Gas explosions can be affected by a variety of factors including coal dust.Coal dust is an inevitable result of underground coal mining.After it is mixed with gas,the explosion pressure and pressure rise rate of gas will change.The concentration of suspended coal dust in roadway will be different,and the explosion pressure parameters of gas will also be different.difference.In order to accurately understand the effect of coal dust on the gas explosion pressure and the rate of pressure rise,this paper uses the experimental research method and mainly carried out the following work:(1)The composition of gas precipitated in the temperature range of 40-260°C was studied.At 40-200°C,the gas evolved from coal dust is carbon monoxide,carbon dioxide,and a small amount of methane gas.The content of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide increases with increasing temperature,and the gas content of methane at 180°C reaches its maximum;when the temperature above 200°C,coal dust precipitates trace amounts of hydrocarbons such as ethane,ethylene,and propane.(2)The effect of coal dust on gas explosion pressure and pressure rise rate was obtained.When the gas concentration is 10% and 12%,the coal dust will restrain the explosion pressure,pressure rise rate,and explosion characteristic parameters of the gas,so that the power of the gas explosion will be reduced;when the gas concentration is 6% and 8%,the explosion pressure,The pressure rising rate and explosive characteristic parameters will show a trend of increasing first and then decreasing with the increase of coal dust concentration.The lower the gas concentration,the more obvious the effect of coal dust on its explosion.(3)Based on the R-S-K equation,a gas explosion pressure calculation model containing coal dust is established.By comparing the calculated values with the experimental values,it is found that the variation law of pure gas explosion pressure calculated by the model is in good agreement with the experimentally measured law and the error is small;when the gas with low coal dust content explodes,The law obtained by the model is in good agreement with the experimental results and the error is kept within a reasonable range.When the coal dust concentration continues to increase,the calculated value of the explosion pressure and the experimental value will increase.The preliminary analysis is due to the experimental Coal dust volatiles cannot be completely precipitated.The paper has obtained the effect of coal dust on the explosion pressure and pressure rise rate of high concentration gas explosions.At the same time,a gas explosion pressure calculation model suitable for coal dust with low concentration has been established,which provides a theoretical basis for controlling gas explosion accidents and ensuring safe production of coal mines.
