A Study On The Influencing Factors Of The Development Of Construction Waste Recycling Industry

Due to the continuous development of the city,China's urbanization level is getting higher and higher.At the same time,urban land-use is decreasing year by year.And the amount of construction waste is increasing.The problem about nowhere to landfill construction waste has become a social problem.Therefore,the government from the national to the local level has issued a series of policies to promote the construction waste recycling.With the promulgation of policies,cities have carried out construction waste recycling activities.However,at present the construction waste recycling is still at an early stage of development in China.And the construction waste recycling rate between cities is quite different.In order to further explore the specific factors affecting the development of the construction waste recycling industry and promote the development of China's construction waste recycling,this paper has carried out a deep analysis.First of all,in order to comprehensively summarize the influencing factors,the PEST theory is used to determine the factors affecting the development of the construction waste recycling industry from the four sides of policy,economy,society and technology.Then,with the help of policy instrument theory and literature review,the framework and indicators of specific influencing factors at the policy,economic,social and technical levels are constructed.Secondly,55 cities including construction waste recycling pilot cities,provincial capital cities and sub-provincial cities are selected as research objects.And the content analysis of policy texts,database search and almanac search are used to find the data needed for this study.Finally,a multivariate regression model is established.The data is imported into SPSS22.0 statistical software for correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis.The following results are obtained:(1)From the perspective of the dimension of policy instrument,the policy instrument frequency from high to low is market-based policy instruments,control and command policy instruments and public participation policy instruments.From the perspective of the construction waste recycling industry chain,the policy instrument frequency from high to low is landfill stage,a sales/utilization stage,production stage,classification stage and transportation stage.(2)Through the multiple stepwise regression,the factors that significantly positively affect the development of the construction waste recycling industry are “laws and regulations”,“fees or taxes” and “the number of urban green buildings”.(3)Through further regression analysis,it is found that “the restricting landfill” and “the using recycled products” from “laws and regulations” have a significantly positively impact on the development of construction waste industry.“The Categorical processing incentive” from “fees or taxes” have a significantly positively impact on the development of construction waste industry.Finally,based on the research results,this paper puts forward some suggestions for the further development of China's urban construction waste recycling industry.
