| Chinese is a Sino-Tibetan language which is mono-syllabic and tonal.Chinese tones refer to the changes of pitch in a syllable and plays an important role in distinguishing the meanings of words.The tones enrich Chinese phonetic expression by enlarging Chinese syllables,which have unique value and special status in Chinese phonetic system.In the process of Chinese acquisition,it is easy to make mistakes and form foreign accent.Seme regular errors are made by Chinese learners from different regions and different language backgrounds.Different teaching strategies should be adopted on the basis of different types of tone errors to improve the effect of Chinese teaching.Based on the interlanguage theory,error analysis theory and experimental phonetics,the Mandarin tone errors of monosyllabic and disyllable made by African students are studied experimentally.The causes of the errors are analyzed and a targeted tone teaching strategy is put forward.The article is divided into four chapters.Chapter one:this part introduces the research background,research problems,research methods,research significance,theoretical basis and research status.Chapter two:A experimental design of tone errors for African students.It introduces the basic situation of the subjects,the scope of the study,the experimental steps and the experimental analysis methods.Chapter three:The experimental part,which is divided into two experiments: tone perception experiment and tone output experiment.the error rates and error types of the tones in monosyllabic and disyllable words pronounced by African students are summarized.The results of tone perception experiment and tone output experiment are compared.Chapter four:The causes of tone acquisition errors of African students from both objective and subjective perspectives are discussed.According to their characteristics of tone errors,the strategy of tone teaching for African students at the primary stage is put forward:simplifying the teaching of upper tone and strengthening the training of tone area,hoping to be helpful to the teaching of tones of African students. |
