As one of the important methods for students to obtain knowledge,English reading occupies an important position in English teaching.However,there are still many problems in the current reading teaching,for example,the students’ participation in the classroom is not high,the students are not interested in the reading class,and the reading efficiency is low.Therefore,in view of these problems,it is imperative to find an effective reading teaching method.After reading the relevant literature,the author found that interactive reading teaching is a very effective teaching method,but there are few researches on the combination of network platform and interactive teaching method.Therefore,this thesis attempts to combine the two to explore a new way of teaching reading.Constructivist theory emphasizes the active constructivity,social interaction and situational nature of learning.Krashen’s input hypothesis theory focuses on students making a lot of comprehensible input before class.Swain output theory requires students to be encouraged to make effective communicative output by completing specific,authentic tasks.All three theories emphasize that students are the main body of learning,and emphasize the importance of cooperation between teachers and students and between students and students.Under the interactive teaching model based on the network platform,students actively participate in the interaction of classroom teaching,creating an active learning atmosphere and exercising students’ expressive ability.This thesis uses questionnaires,tests,and interviews to obtain relevant data,and then analyzes the effectiveness of interactive teaching methods.This thesis attempts to verify three questions: 1)Can the interactive teaching model based on the network platform improve students’ reading attitude? 2)Can the interactive teaching mode based on the network platform improve students’ classroom participation? 3)Can the interactive teaching mode based on the network platform improve students’ reading ability?The experimental subjects of this research are students in two classes of the first grade of a senior middle school in **.Class 1 is set as the experimental class,and class 2 is set as the control class.The students in the experimental class are taught by interactive teaching method for a period of three months.English reading teaching experiment.According to the research results,the following conclusions are drawn: the interactive teaching method with the help of the network platform can increase the interaction frequency of teachers and students in the classroom,establish a new teacher-student relationship;increase the interaction between students and students,improve students’ reading attitude;the input of relevant knowledge is carried out on the network platform before,the interaction between teachers and students and students is carried out in class,and the homework is completed through the network platform after class,so as to improve students’ English reading ability.
