Clinical Observation Of Baohe Wendan Decoction In The Treatment Of Pediatric Stagnation(Syndrome Of Spleen Deficiency And Accumulation)

Objective:Through the observation of the clinical effect of Baohe wendan Decoction on the syndrome of spleen deficiency and accumulation in children,the curative effect and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of children’s accumulation and stagnation were discussed.Methods:A total of 72 children with stagnation who met the inclusion criteria in the pediatric clinic of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine were selected as the research objects,and were divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method,with 36 cases in each group.The treatment group was given Baohe Wendan Decoction and the control group was given Bupi Xiaoji oral liquid.The treatment course of both groups was 2 weeks.The change of syndrome score and total effective rate of main and secondary diseases were analyzed statistically before and after treatment.Results:1.Comparison of general data: Chi-square test and independent sample T test showed that there was no statistical significance in gender,age,course of disease and severity of disease between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Comparison of the total scores of TCM syndromes: After 2 weeks of treatment,the total scores of TCM syndromes before and after treatment in the two groups were compared within the group and between the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the two groups of treatment methods were effective in improving the stagnation of spleen deficiency syndrome in children,and the treatment group was better than the control group.3.Comparison of TCM main symptom scores: After 2 weeks of treatment,the scores of TCM main symptoms before and after treatment in the two groups were compared within the group and between the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the two groups of treatment methods were effective in improving the main symptoms of spleen deficiency syndrome of stagnation in children(not thinking about milk food,fullness after eating,fishy in thin stools,with milk tablets or indigestion of food residue).The treatment group was better than the control group.4.Comparison of scores of TCM secondary diseases: After the treatment,the scores of TCM primary diseases of the two groups before and after treatment were compared within the group and between the groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment methods of the two groups were effective in improving children’s secondary symptoms of spleen deficiency syndrome(abdominal full and preferring to press,emaciation,exhaustion and sallow face),and the treatment group was better than the control group.5.Analysis of clinical efficacy: After 2 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the two groups was analyzed,and the total effective rate in the treatment group was 94.29% and that in the control group was 82.86%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group.Conclusion:1.Baohe Wendan Decoction has remarkable curative effect on pediatric stagnation(syndrome of spleen deficiency and accumulation),which is obviously better than Bupi Xiaoji oral liquid.2.Baohe Wendan Decoction is significantly better than Bupu Xiaoji oral liquid in improving the main symptoms of children(not thinking about milk food,eating,loose stool acid,with milk tablets or indigestible food residue).3.Baohe Wendan Decoction is significantly better than Bupu Xiaoji oral liquid in improving thesecondary symptoms(abdominal full like press,emaciation,exhaustion,pale complexion).
