A Comparative Study Of Russian Sinologists' Chinese Grammar

This doctor dissertation makes comparative research of Russian Sinologists’ s works – “Practical Chinese Grammar”(Gorelov, 1911- 1994) written in 1957 is basis. Also explored object is “Theoretical modern Chinese grammar” published in 1979(Solntceva,1926- 2014, Solntcev,1928- 2000), “Modern Chinese Grammar” written in 1930(Ivanov, 1878- 1937,Polivanov, 1891- 1938), and “Research of modern Chinese Grammar” written in 1952(Dragunov, 1900--1955).The introduction covers the research object, research methods and literature sources.The first, second, third, fourth chapters aimed analyse Gorelov’s “Practical Chinese Grammar”’s grammatical phenomens. In particular discussion and study, we also compare Gorelov’s perspective and modern Chinese studies’ s perspective. In the process of comparison and analysis, we emphasis on “Practical Chinese Grammar” value and meaning in Chinese grammar study.In the first chapter, we describe and analyze Gorelov’s “Practical Chinese Grammar”’s the word class system and highlight Gorelov’s study of Chinese grammar’s characteristics. In addition, we describe “Practical Chinese Grammar” value and meaning in Chinese grammar study. In this chapter, we focus on nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, numerals, quantifiers, pronouns.In the second chapter, we discusse and analyze Gorelov’s “Practical Chinese Grammar”’s syntactic functions and prominent Gorelov’s special view on Chinese syntactic elements. In addition, we describe “Practical Chinese Grammar”’s value and meaning in Chinese grammar study.In the third chapter, we focuse on Gorelov’s “Practical Chinese Grammar”’ single sentence. This chapter includes a single sentence, sentence category and sentence.In the fourth chapter, we discusse and analyze Gorelov’s “Practical Chinese Grammar”’s complex sentences.The fifth chapter describes and analyzes Ivanov and Polivanov’s “Modern Chinese Grammar”’s grammatical phenomens. In this chapter we compare Gorelov’s “Practical Chinese Grammar” and “Modern Chinese Grammar”’s syntactis.The sixth chapter discusses and analyzes Solntceva and Solntcev’s “Theoretical modern Chinese grammar”. In this chapter we describe the main point of Chinese grammar and copmpare the notional of Gorelov’s “Practical Chinese Grammar” and “Theoretical modern Chinese grammar”.The seventh chapter compares Gorelov’s “Practical Chinese Grammar” and Dragunov’s “Research of modern Chinese Grammar”. In this chapter we highlight the different points of “Practical Chinese Grammar” and “Research of modern Chinese Grammar”.This analysis of Chinese Grammar shows that: Chinese grammar is described by Russian Sinologists have outstanding value and meaning in Chinese grammar study.The conclusion contains Gorelov’s “Practical Chinese Grammar” ‘s features and shortcomings, the similarities and differences between Gorelov’s “Practical Chinese Grammar” and Ivanov and Polivanov’s “Modern Chinese Grammar”, Solntceva and Solntcev’s “Theory of modern Chinese grammar”, Dragunov’s “Modern Chinese Grammar”.
