The article picks two sets elementary Chinese textbooks of teaching Chinese assecond language from“20excellent Chinese textbooks” which are recommended byHanban. The author studies the whole grammar section of the two sets textbooks byusing statistical method、description method and comparative analysis method. Theauthor form a data base by collecting all grammar points in two sets textbooks, thenclassify and statistic the data in order to get the corresponding conclusion.With respect to grammar section comparison, the author classifies and statisticamount grammar points according to four levels.(Known as Jia、Yi、Bing、Ding)Interms of the arrangement of language points,the author studies the traits ofsystemization of grammar in each book and detailed information of each selectedgrammar points. At last, the author reveals the traits and merits of two sets books inselecting and arranging grammar points. Some suggestions are given on establishinggrammar system of elementary Chinese textbooks.
