Innovation plays an important role in the formation and evolution of the advertising industry. Innovation is also the key to the advertising industry transformation and upgrading of the today’s digital background. This study takes evolutionary economics as the theoretical analysis framework, see the advertising industry as the object of the analysis from the innovation theory perspective. This paper analysis the impact and effect on the formation and evolution of innovative ways advertising industry arising from the longitudinal analysis of the role of innovation and evolution of the advertising industry self-organization resulting from the horizontal, and then presents the advertising industry innovation system, innovation and development mode and the current situation innovative ideas Chinese advertising industry. This paper strive to enrich the theory of the advertising industry and guide the practice of the development of the advertising industry.Firstly, this paper discusses the impact of technological innovation, system innovation and innovation division of the formation of the advertising industry generated. Technological innovation is the root cause of the formation of the advertising industry. In the second half of the19th century, the industrial production of large-scale technological innovation brought commodity production was a prerequisite for the formation of the advertising industry, technological innovation of the advertising industry was a necessary condition for the formation of the advertising industry, the new transportation technologies to expand the scope of market exchange, strangers economy replaced the acquaintance economy, so advertising was a must; innovation is the reason for the evolution of the advertising industry reasons, basic institutional environment to bring innovation to promote the formation of industrial and commercial development of the advertising industry, individual and organizational level of institutional innovation directly contribute to the formation of the advertising industry. Innovative of the advertising industry is the industry-level innovation. The specialized market, division of labor and the advertising industry are mutually reinforcing.Secondly, in this study, according to the industry evolution cycle theory of evolutionary economics analysis tool that China’s advertising industry evolution cycle could be divided into five stages which are infancy, formation, growth, and full recovery of the reversal. This paper focuses on the Chinese advertising industry growth, reversing the form of a comprehensive recovery and evolution, as well as innovative advertising industry during these three evolutionary scale, the impact of market structure evolution and the evolution of industrial quality. Followed by analysis of the secondary fluctuations and evolution of the early twentieth century has been the turning point of China’s advertising industry evolution believes that institutional innovation (changes) affect the evolution of the advertising industry, the environment and industry position and thus have an impact on the evolution of the advertising industry. In this study, according to the analysis of self-organization theory of evolutionary economics argues that the advertising industry is open, far from equilibrium fluctuations and non-linear characteristics, was a typical self-organizing system. The article also from the role of advertising entrepreneurs in promoting the evolution of the advertising industry organizations, interactive in the advertising industry organizations on the advertising industry and the evolution of the role of entrepreneurs in the industrial environment of the advertising industry innovation and organizational innovation constraints perspectives on the impact of innovation on the evolution of the advertising industry’s self-organization.Finally, according to the advertising industry innovation gene evolution theory, government management principles and innovative advertising industry self-organization theory, this paper presented the advertising industry innovation system and innovation development-corporate body, government-led development model, and presented the current situation of China’s advertising industry innovative ideas.
