| China’s economic growth has attained remarkable achievements since the reform and opening up, but the contradiction in economic is increasing at the same time. Many problems such as products overstocking, productivity excess, enterprises investment structure worsening are prevailing in varied districts, the conflict between supply and demand is upgrading gradually. Moreover, because of the attack of the new round international industrial reorganization, the structural problems have become the bottleneck of restricting the economic development in China, the optimization and adjustment of the industrial construction is urging.Producer services have the features of strong creation ability, intensive industrial merging and strong leading effect, these features decide the producer services playing a vital role in the optimization and adjustment of the industrial construction, and this has been verified in developed countries. However, the current research on the effects of the producer services development to the optimization and adjustment of the industrial construction in China is still in initial stage, there are many problems in the coupling coordination of producer services development and the industrial structure, the mechanism and path of producer services in the industrial structure optimization and the way of making full use of the producer services in the industrial structure optimization, and these problems have not been expounded with detail systematically and roundly. The global industrial restructure is becoming intensive, economic growth in China is in a critical period. Because of above reasons, a comprehensive system of empirical research on the effect of producer services to industrial structure optimization is meaningful in both theory and real.Based on these considerations above, the paper uses qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, normative analysis and empirical analysis methods to study the effect of producer services to industrial structure optimization systematically. This research can be roughly divided into four sections. First is the theoretical basis, including chapter 2 and 3. The theories of the development of producer services, optimization of industrial structure and the relationship between them are reviewed in this section. Besides these, the related literature at home and abroad are also summarized and teased in the first section, and on the basis of those I find out the starting point of this research. The second section is the chapter 4, which is the present analysis of producer services growth and the industrial structure adjustment. Firstly, the present situation of producer services growth and the industrial structure adjustment are analyzed, and then I analyzed the coupling coordination between them. The third section is an empirical analysis of the producer services optimizing the industrial structure, including chapter 5 and 6. At first I estimate the level of industrial structure under the modern industrial structure optimization connotation, and second on the basis of qualitative analysis of the producer services to optimize the industrial optimization, I use the mediation effect model and PVAR to analyze the path of producer services to optimize the industrial structure and the influence of productive service to the industrial structure optimization empirically. The last part is experiences and suggestion, including chapter 7,8and9. In this part, the reason of the problems in the process of optimization has been analyzed thoroughly. And I make suggestions and find solutions according the practical situation in China.There are seven conclusions below.1. Compared with the industrial structure adjustment, the level of producer services development falls behind, and their coupling coordiantion is poor. By analyzing the development of producer services and the adjustment of industrial structure coordination, I found that there is an interactive relationship between the development of producer services coupled with the adjustment of industrial structure, and the coupling coordination development level enhances unceasingly, it reached primary coordination level in 2013. The level of the three industries’and their each structure adjustment is higher than the level of producer services’s growth. The slow speed of the development of producer services leads the low level of coordiantion between them.2. The regional differences in the industrial structure optimization level are significant and the optimization levels in many aeras are declining. According to the measures of industrial structure optimization under the resources and environmental contraints level, I found that, in the point of horizon, optimization of industrial structure in 2004-2013 in Beijing is the highest sorce of 5.017, the lowest score is-1.273 in Qinghai Provience, the reginonal industrial structure optimization levels are distinguished greatly. In the longitudinal view, accompaning with the development of economy in the eastern region the industrial structure optimization level enhances unceasing, and the optimization levels in the middle and the most of the western region is declining.3. Compared with the social demand, the optimization effect of the producer services industry to promote industrial structure through science and technology innovation is relatively small. Based on the qualitative analysis of the path of producer services to optimize industrial structure, I use the mediation effect model to measure the impact of producer services to optimize the industrial structure through science and technology innovation and social needs. Then that I draw conlusions are producer services through technological innovation to promote the industrial structure optimization mediating effect is 0.121, and the effect through the demand by social is 0.348..4. The effects of producer services to industrial structure optimization are distinguished in different regions. In the whole country, the percentage of the producer services in GDP improves one percentage point, the score of the industrial structure optimization increases 1.218. But in different regions the effects of producer services to industrial structrue optimization are different. The effect in eastern region is positive, and in other regions it is negative.5. The interactive relationship between producer services and industrial structure optimization is unequal. The influence of industrial structure optimization to producer services is immediate, strong and durably, and the opposite is slow, thin and temporary. Moreover, the self inertia of industrial structure optimization in middle&western region is small, and it’s easy for the producer services to affect industrial structure optimization.6. The national fixed investment is a negative factor to the development of producer services. The effect of fixed investment to producer services in eastern region is tiny, nearly is zero. The fixed investment hindered the development of producer services in middle&western region.7. In the whole country, the percentage of the fixed investment improves one percentage point, the score of the industrial structure optimization reduce 0.118. The fixed investment is positive to industrial structure in eastern region, but in the other regions the effect is negative.
