| Urbanization and the upgrading of industrial structure has important interactions. The upgrade of industrial structure can promote the urbanization process through the factor market, the investment multiplier effect and the resources space transfer, and the development of urbanization can promote the optimization of industrial structure upgrade as a supporter, driver and carrier. Research of urbanization construction and upgrading of industrial structure coordination problem of the two to promote the regional economic structure optimization and the growth of total has important theoretical and realistic significance.By using the data between 2003-2012 about 30 cities in China, this paper established a comprehensive evaluation index system of construction of urbanization and industrial structure, then complete measurement through principal component analysis method, with this foundation we build a PVAR model to empirical analyzes the relationship between urbanization and industrial structure upgrade, and create a synergy degree index depicting the harmonious development between urbanization and industrial structure upgrade.According to the combination of a variety of methods, this paper respectively from the Angle of individuality and common characteristics to carry out the analysis, then get the following conclusions:(1) The development situation of the upgrading of industrial structure is similar to the construction of urbanization’s in all the regions in China. On the time dimension, the situation both showed an rising trend; On the regional dimension, both urbanization and industrial structure upgrade all showed a clear regional differences;(2) In the long term, the promotion effect between the construction of urbanization and industrial structure upgrade is significant and stable; In the short term, the promoting effect of the urbanization construction in industrial structure upgrade is not obvious, on the other hand, upgrading of industrial structure has a significant and general strength promotion effect on urbanization construction;(3) The synergistic relationship between the urbanization construction and industrial structure upgrade in an area is good or not has a direct effect on the application of their interactions in the same area, thus affecting regional’s overall situation between the urbanization construction and industrial structure upgrade.Based on the previous research results, this paper puts forward these measures to promote the synergy development between the urbanization construction and industrial structure upgrade:(1) must play the biggest role of the continuous impetus of industry upgrade on the urbanization construction;(2) can not blindly pursue the urbanization development speed, we should pay more attention to comprehensively improve the quality of urbanization development, realize the urbanization development from the extensive expansion to intensive development;(3) make full use of regional resources, on the basis of urbanization and industrial development prominent regional development advantage;(4) give full play to the resource comparative advantage;(5) focus the synergy degree of upgrading the urbanization and the industrial structure;(6) balance the protection of the ecological environment and the development of regional economy.In summary, our country has a vast territory, and each region has their own advantages. Therefore, when giving advice that can promote the various regions of China’s synergy development between urbanization and industrial structure upgrading, we should not only put the actual conditions in each province of our country into account, develop policies with local characteristics according to these conditions, but also based on the basic national conditions in our country, put forward recommendations that can promote the harmonious and stable development between the urbanization construction and upgrading of the industrial structure from the national point of view. |
