With the development of economic globalization and the rise of knowledge-based economy, knowledge plays a more and more important role in economic behavior and becomes a decisive factor in competitive among countries, industries and enterprises, which requires the promotion of knowledge learning ability of organizations. Organizational structure and organizational learning have direct impact on the knowledge transfer and creation, whick makes it important for a knowledge-based enterprise to choose the correct organizational structure for efficient knowledge transfer and - creation or to find out the best way of learning knowledge on basis of the existing organizational structure. The main topic of this thesis is to illuminate the way of organizational structure and - learning impact the knowledge transfer and - creation in common enterprises. On basis of current research progress of organizational structure, organizational learning, knowledge transfer and - creation, the effect of organizational structure and organizational learning on knowledge transfer and creation is then studied from the following four aspects. The efficiencies of both inter-personal and inter-sectional knowledge transfer processes are studied with an over-lapping transfer model and a de-blocking transfer model proposed separately. Survey and experimental investigation are taken to verify the applications of the two models as well as the influence human mental states on knowledge transfer efficiency, which result in the conclusion that the de-blocking transfer model with organic organizational-structure takes advantages in large amount of knowledge transfer capacity and low requirement on employee skill level. The impact of nodes in enterprises with mechanical organizational-structure on knowledge transfer is then studied in this dissertation. Models are built to analyze the effects of dynamic-and location characteristics on knowledge transfer process, which comes to the conclusion that the active-and inactive nodes are more important than the semi-active nodes, and the improvement of knowledge transfer ability for the nodes will benefit the whole knowledge transfer process directly, and two-layer organizational structure will be more efficient in knowledge transfer process than one-layer organizational structure. The dissertation then focus on the efficiency of knowledge transfer and creation in organic isomorphic companies. The knowledge leve of the enterprise is analyzed by using a proposed multi-agent simulation model. The variation speeds of external knowledge content and dimension, the learning speed of the enterprise and its employees are all taken into consideration to study their relationship with organizational learing. The conclusion suggests that the enterprise and its director should carefully choose the learning speed to achieve an optimal knowledge level. It is also shown that the change of the scale will adequately affect the knowledge transfer efficiency especially when the contens and dimensions of the knowledge outside are changing simultaneously. The last part of the research work is to study the knowledge transfer and creation process in enterprises with organic isomerism. The organizational structure is studied by using a modified multi-agent models with genetic algorithm embedded to optimize the knowledge levels of the enterprise. The scale, tie strength and the learing desire are all studied as well. The corresponding research work comes to a law, according to which an enterprise can choose a better environment, such as location, to maximizae its knowledge level. The research contents of this dissertation provide a new view point and idea to study the relationship among knowledge transfer and creation as well as organizational structure and learning. The models proposed here are useful optional analysis tools for studying the process of knowledge transfer and creation in enterprises. The conclusion drawn in the dissertation can be useful references to benefit those enterprise to optimize their organizational structure and learing for effective knowledge transfer and creation.
