This dissertion takes Zhiqian Buddhist scriptures as research object. By investigating the representative classical works written from Xianqin to Nanbei Chao, this dissertion applys descriptive and comparative methods to research the vocabulary of zhiqian's translations. The author expects excavate its research value and significance. This dissertion is divided into five chapters: (l)Firstly this dissertion reviews the history of vocabulary study on Buddhist scripture and clarifies the necessity of researching Zhiqian's translations. Secondly the author arranges and ascertains truthful Zhiqian's translations. (2)This dissertion gives a brief account of the vocabulary characters of Zhiqian's translations and some active morphemes in Zhiqian's translations. (3)Discuss some synonym combination, then analyse five commonly used words's change and development in Zhiqian's translations. (4)By comparing Zhichen 's Daohangboruojing with Zhiqian's Damingdujing, the author pursues their difference of language style in this two Buddhist scriptures. (5)At last this dissertion discusses the translative author and age of a suspicious Buddhist scriptures titled Zhuanjibaiyuanjing by Zhiqian.
