In the course of the research, it established a preliminary system of Chinese traditional ancient Phonology. It was the first work of traditional ancient Phonology, The composing and publishing of Shi Bu Yinpromoted the developing and thriving of ancient phonology at that time. Mao Shi Gu Yin Kao, written by Chen Di of Ming dynasty, is also stemmed from Shi Buyin directly. No hard and fast line can be drawn between Part One and Part Two. Part One is the base of Part Two.
