It is in the May 4th that the moumeon of children has been established. Children narration, then, has experienced several important periods: provincial novels in the 1920th,"Beijing School Novels"in the 1930th and childhood recollection novels in the 1940th. The period after the Great Cultural Revolution is a new era for children narration for the appearance of children themselves. Meanwhile, quantities of novels appeared. The period is important, however, research is weak. The meaning of children narration falls into two parts firsrt of which is the special view point to the world, second of which lies in roots-seeking. Studing about them will lead to new informantion about writers. Based on above two reasons, the thesis focuses on the state of children narration since the 1980th.Some concepts need to be definited: toll state is used to definite the conditon that the narrative meaning is not utilized in novels; the thesis excludes children's literature for it is in a independent system; the concept of children narration refers to a system in which childen act as major roles, and, the difference from"adults narraton"is emphasized. Children narration is different from angle of view of children for the latter excludes the novels in tool state which is still necessary to research. Furthermore, it tends to stress the function of"angle of view"while often neglect the function of roots-seeking.Study at the present pays more attention to writers than the whole novels, which leads to spicial love to testify narrative effects. There appears a book studing the whole writing, that is, Novel & Child——1980～2000:Vision of Novels in China, whose target is children's state in novels. Differently, the state of children narration is the major content of this thesis.
