As the complement to lingual pattern and spiritual world, Chinese Christian literature in the New Period is managing to construct an individualized living form in rich and strong style, as well as a spiritual space in which Deity and Poetry can reach reciprocal interpretation. This is undoubtedly a superior way of expression for the current Chinese literature .However, under such circumstances, Chinese Christian literature hasn't been given priority for its seeking morality of life. This dissertation, in such a critic discourse, intends to show the true features of Chinese Christian Literature after New Period, expounds on its values.The dissertation is divided into three parts as introduction .The introduction briefly analyzes three kinds of philosophical seekings and strategies for survival of Chinese writers after New Periodstresses the stand of Chinese Christian literature and the value of this research as well. As for the body, it consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, first of all, writers of Chinese Christian literature are classified into Christian and non- Christia . In addition, the writers who are Christian are introduced in detail coming from mainland of China, the region of Tai Wan and Hong Kong as well as overseas. Secondly, the thesis discusses three types of Chinese Christian literature Maternal Love Literature, Tourist Literature, and Earth Literature. Finally, it investigates changes of Chinese intellectual's ideas for Christian spirit through the spread of Christian literature in China mainly via publications, Internet as well as the spread within Christianity. The second chapter reveals the specific connotation of Chinese Bible literature through the description of naming, discusses Chinese written form for the Bible spiritual image, and also studies Shi Wei's feminist novels in Biblical style. The third chapter studies Chinese Deity Literature by analyzing the lingual pattern of the spiritual attraction of Human and God and the display of deity in human life. Besides, it demonstrates both spiritual and artistic attraction of Chinese Deity Literature, taking Wang Weifan's works as a case study. The fourth chapter reveals the spiritual connotation of Chinese salvation literature, stresses the significance of Chinese salvation literature for the interpretation of Cultural Revolution from the aspect of deity and lashes out at Bei Cun's conscientious system of Chinese intellectuals based on a sense of guilt, having analyzing true connotation of confessing and the changes of Chinese literature.
