Bakhtin Poetic Theory Overview

Bakhtin is one of the most important Russian theoreticians in the 20th century, and is one of the scholars who got most dispute worldwide. In recent years, Bakhtin research circle has presented the proposal which moves towards "real Bakhtin", lots of scholars thought that research should be launched on the basis of original meaning of Bakhtin's thought and the unity of his theory. This kind of theory is essential in the research of Bakhtin. It produces the efforts to rectify a deviation to read by mistake with explaining Bakhtin excessivly, and it is the inevitable request for dialogue with each other. There were dispute between chip theory and integral theory in Bakhtin study, it lies in whether or not finding a definite theory fulcrum in the thought of Bakhtin, and regard it as the foundation that all theories deduce. The controversies will inevitable influence to the poem theory, because Bakhtin's poem theories do not exist independently, they often need relevant theory to support.As to theoretical research of Bakhtin, We should acknowledge the pluralistic characteristic of his theory, and find the clue and method carried throughout in different theory details. Through the theory of dialogue that established with reciprocal idea, Bakhtin establish new integral viewpoint of the humanities and the humanity methodology, making every branch of the humanities as the culture matter participating in the realistic, and each theory keep the relations that exchanging and talking with each other under the inherent and exterior tension. In this way, the humanity is living body growing among realistic culture, with the development and open characteristic. Under the shining of the integral viewpoint, there are various kinds of theories that consult each other, and these characteristics reflect in various kinds of theory details. So Bakhtin's integral theory, demonstrate the characteristic of pluralism and chip, but still an integral. Among the integral, there mixed a great deal of different theory.
